Why didn’t we hear Mitch McConnell cry when GWB was convicting terrorists in civilian courts? Why is it the press doesn’t get in his face and ask him about it? Where is Fox News on this one? If we’re to believe what one side says they’re they only fair ones so I guess they’re who we should expect to pose the tough question to McConnell correct? Don’t hold your breath…..unless you look good in blue.

I am amazed that Cuba has put up with Gitmo for all these years. No one has ever escaped from the maximum security prison inside the USA that was created for those kinds of prisoners.
The USA has successfully convicted terrorists in the past in our regular courts. We could have a special court for terrorists, similar to the Court of Veterans Appeals. Lord knows enough vets have lost in that corrupt court.

Lack of faith in the US justice systme is common, but the belief that military tribunals ae kangaroo courts where we can declare anyone we want guilty is completely wrong.

From what I hear of NY prisons – Warsame will probably want to be in Guantanimo too;).. Don’t the civilian courts actually have a better conviction rate than the military tribunals?
