Alzheimers is something horrible that happens to all sorts of people. I would not wish this on anyone, but the stress from the job can lead to awful problems. I would suggest he see a doctor. The man looks frail

It’s conceivable that his “real” birthday is not August 4. There is so much “smoke and mirrors” surrounding his origin that he may not really know himself. I believe that all his “official papers” were not in proper order from the moment he was born, and his entire life has been micromanaged by others- first his mom and grandparents, then his stepfather, later on by political people who have propelled him to where he is now.

Sorry but in my opinion if your forget your birthday, not age as that does change all the time, and its a mental math thing to calculate it, but the actual day? To Bummer: I think you need to do some fact checking on Fact Check.org. which states that Pres Obama did not triple the debt he has not even doubled it. This recession is the result of 8 yrs of SPENDING, SPENDING, SPENDING and not paying for it. Two wars, prescription drug program and bank failures. I kind of agree with you when you say hving highly educated people in office does not necessarily mean good decisions but that applies to both sides.

I see a comment asking why Obama raised a lot more cash than Republicans. Well first, despite his always bashing the rich he has some uber-rich supporters (Soros, Oprah, etc.) and second he got a lot of illegal money from foreign sources. I saw Reagan screw up once in a debate where he lost his train of thought and started wandering a bit. Yeah, that concerned me, at the time, but he quickly proved it was an isolated incident. I don’t see a 42% approval rating here so I have to ask where and how that figure is arrived at. For years he said there was no long form available. Then all of a sudden, when the heat was on, one was produced and it looked like it was put together by a total amateur, raising more questions. Next, allegedly getting Bin Laden miraculously moved the birth certificate controversy off the radar. There is so much about this President that doesn’t add up in terms of his background (e.g., testimony from Kenyan officials about the disappearance of records pertaining to Obama) that I won’t bother to go into. As for his performance and stand on issues that matter to average Americans, it’s all abysmal. I believed his campaign promises and voted for him. (Anybody was seen to be better than Bush, so many of us took a chance on Obama instead of the obvious establishment candidate, McCain.) Obama played us like a fiddle, having violated all of his campaign promises he used to get our votes. Now he scares the seniors by saying Social Security checks might not be sent out unless he gets his way with the budget ceiling. This is heartless and reveals his true character.

Why do people keep writing that even young children know not to use a comma before “and”? I saw a similar comment in a Huffington Post article about the WA guestbook incident.
You can use a comma before “and” in a few situations: between two independent clauses, to set off a parenthetical phrase, and when you list things in a series of three or more (as I just did here).

Maybe he just finished a blunt or hit the crack pipe right before making this utterance. More like a “Cheech and Chong” or a “Willie Nelson” moment than a “senior moment”. “Anybody got a Newport?”.

Of course, he forgot his birthday! You’d forget your birthday too, if it was made up!

The birth certificate released April 2011 is a forgery. The letters are different length. How can the same letters such as the letter “a” have different lengths unless two typewritters were used? Not all typewritters in the 50s and 60s used the same font. It appears the Obama birth certificate has signs of a number of these vintage typewritters.

I believe that President Obama will be re-elected in 2012.
So what if he says that Mali is 13… that’s an issue too? She is much closer to 13 than 12. After one has a birthday, he/she begins a new year the following day that’s why in the school system age is divided by six months (1/2 year). When a child celebrates a year it means he/she has completed a year and will be starting the second year of his/her life the next day. So that child/person is really one (1)or (whatever age)plus.
