ABC News' Jason Volack reports:
Congressman Ron Paul will not sign The Family Leader’s “Marriage Vow,” becohttp://www.typepad.com/site/blogs/6a00d8341c4df253ef0105360d2b16970b/post/compose#ming the sixth candidate not to do so.
A spokesperson for the campaign says that the congressman has problems with the vow’s language. And he said that it has become problematic for the two candidates who did sign. Those candidates are Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum.
Some are pointing fingers at conservative Christian groups for going to far. The 14 point vow originally included language that “a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA's first African-American President." The Family Leader removed the passage after a public outcry.
