Sarah Palin to Give Keynote at Iowa Tea Party Rally Over Labor Day Weekend

ABC News’ Shushannah Walshe (@shushwalshe)and Sheila Marikar (@sheilaym) report:
Sarah Palin will give a keynote address at an Iowa Tea Party rally on Sept. 3, ABC News has learned.
Three separate sources confirmed to ABC News that the former Alaska governor accepted an invitation to keynote a Waukee, Iowa, rally held by the Tea Party of America, an Iowa-based political action committee that was founded in May.
The appearance was first reported by Real Clear Politics.
The Sept. 3 trip will be Palin’s second visit to the key election state this year. She attended the Pella, Iowa, premiere of the documentary about her, “The Undefeated,” in June. Her keynote speech will fall two days after "The Undefeated” gets released on pay-per-view and video-on-demand.
A tea party insider with knowledge of the rally said the timing is not a coincidence: “Labor Day weekend is the traditional kick-off to political campaigns, [and] it’s going to be all Sarah all the time.”
The same source pointed out that Palin has “sucked the news cycles of three major summer holidays” because her “One Nation” bus tour launched Memorial Day weekend, “The Undefeated” premiered ahead of July 4 weekend, and this event falls on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
Palin will likely cement her role in the 2012 election in the coming weeks. In a Fox News appearance earlier this month, she acknowledged that the deadline to get into the presidential race is fast approaching, saying that by "August, of course, you have to be laying out a plan if you're going to be one to throw your hat in the ring."
Whether a decision will be made about her political future at this event is still unknown, but the tea party insider believes this is either “a roll out for her run” or her attempt “to take the lead of the tea party.”
Peter Singleton is a volunteer who has almost single handedly laid the groundwork for Palin’s potential campaign in Iowa. In 2010, he started the group Organize4Palin, leaving behind his attorney job and family in California to convince Iowans to get ready to caucus for Palin, even though he has no idea if she will run.
“My guess, and it’s not based on any knowledge: I just can’t see her sitting out this election,” he told ABC News. “She is a citizen leader. I can’t see her sitting this one out.”
Singleton called the Sept. 3 address a “big event” and said his volunteers will be at the event. If she runs, as he hopes she will, he predicts victory: “No one will outwork Sarah Palin, no will out work the Palin base.”
Susan Geddes, the event coordinator for the Tea Party of America, told ABC News that despite the organization only being a few months old, she found it easy to get Palin to sign on to the September event.
“We asked and her schedule was available,” Geddes said. “It’s really that simple.”
The group anticipates a large crowd at the free event – they’re advising attendees to “bring lawn chairs.” Palin is expected to speak about “the state the country is in,” in her keynote, but the whole event will not be devoted to her. Geddes said the goal of the rally is to educate like minded Iowans on how to get conservatives elected.
“If you are someone that has never gotten involved politically, you will know what to do by the end of the event,” she said.
Palin is still expected to revive her “One Nation” bus tour. This event could be her launching pad to get back on the road.

That’s nice.
Sarah at least speaks the truth, more than what I can say about some other politicians and as an added bonus she actually has strong american principals that she stands up for.

If Tea Party members get more stupid by listening to Old Dumb as Rocks Sarah Palin they need to be go through corrective surgery. The Koch Brother AKA The Cockroach Brothers are probably researching right now a way to supplement moron behavior by inserting mind implants. Sarah Palin will need to get in her devil worship outfit before sucking the brain out of the moron before treatment.

Two things this article is not saying:
1. Her speech in IA is three years to the day from her acceptance speech at the RNC in 2008
2. Until recently, Mr. Singleton was the groundman in IA for Herman Cain.
Barracudas Maximus 2012!

Sarah is stupid. She would not know the truth if it hit her in the face. She can not even control her trashy family much less be president. If she does run so much trash that her and her family are involved in will all come to light and it will not be pretty.

LOL! John McCain called Tea Party Congressmen Tea Party Hobbits!
If it weren’t for Palin, McCain would be President today and Obama would be working for MSNBC. Thanks a lot Palin!

And as others have noted, but not ABC News, that this speech falls on the 3rd anniversary of her acceptance speech at the ’08 Republican convention.
A Recession is when your neighbor loses his or her job.
A Depression is when you lose your job.
A Recovery is when Obama loses his job.

Sarah Palin is the most hated woman in Alaska from all persuasions 73%, and the second most hated woman in the lower 48 next to Casey Anthony. Why? she is so blatantly vain, vindictive, thin skinned, greedy and narcissistic. Not to mention stupid. She gives a new meaning to flaky. She has been hiding pending the outcome of her books success. Too bad it bombed. Badly.Baaaaaaaaaddddddlllly. Jury duty my ars.
Todd wears cloggs and Sarah wears bondo.

Her movie bombed even worse. What a complete and total fry. I cannot believe I held signs for her in the rain on election day for the governors race. We Alaskans reject this goofy, pencil necked kooky librarian looking bimbo with the BIG old square jaw and squirrel cheeks and bony legs. Lesil McGuire is a fox, Sarah is not.

As a Kansas conservative. What has Sarah Palin and her children ever done without? Medical care or health benefits, food, a home, etc? I bet not. Ms. Palin, in her support and speeches in front of tea party rallies and supporters reinforces the reality that she is as much of a excessively right wing conservative radical as other tea party members and rep. in congress in DC. After doing in depth research I found out the tea party radicals do not even believe that the government will really default and not be able to pay its bills if the debt limit is not raised through BOTH some kind of tax increases to increase revenue and cuts to lower the deficit. My grand daughter Alexis, who has CP has had her extended school year cut by three weeks, lost some much needed services, etc. as a result of this mess. And she stands to lose much more if her SSI and medacaid is jeopardized by a government default. So much for Ms. Palin’s avowal that she cares deeply for services that affect children like her youngest daughter. More empty rhetoric and lies. I have now become an independent, mainly because of the current G.O.P. and the tea party whom I hold mainly responsible for this mess. Rigid policies against raising taxes is okay under the right circumstances. But not when it threatens the livelihood and existence of millions of Americans who have done nothing to deserve this. And the G.O.P. itself added tremendously to the deficit during six of the eight years they were in the majority during the George W. Bush years. It is time time to own up to the fact that both parties are to blame and that both need to compromise, offering both cuts and tax increases of some kind. Since Kansas rarely has a democrat who even tries to run because of the states bible belt attitudes, I will being writing in a candidates name the next time I have to vote for any office. And I will not be voting for any Republican for president either. Not this time.

Too often to be merely luck, Palin is brilliant dealing with the media.
Besides this last ‘24,000 email clown show’ :
Death Panel. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 1 – LSM: 0
Party like it’s 1773. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 2 – LSM: 0
Blood libel. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 3 – LSM: 0
Revere warned British too. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 4 – LSM: 0
Etc.,
Etc.,
Etc.
I know I’m missing many, and it’s probably closer to SP:20 – LSM: 0.

You would think the clown commenters here, would be dissing Obama, and his minions, whose liberal policies, are destroying this great Country. Instead, they diss on Palin,a private citizen, who is fighting against this liberal madness. They are trying to convince average Americans to not vote for her. If they think the vast majority of Americans are stupid enough to re-elect Obama, and not vote for Sarah, who will listen, and govern for the average American, then they are in for a big suprise,in the election of 2012!

To those on here who hate Palin, please at least start talking issues, the insults about her looks and her intelligence are simply boring old repetitious disproven nonsense and are not furthering the discussion. As for those on here who think a Palin presidency might disrupt your government paychecks…take a look at what she did in Alaska! Every single citizen fared BETTER because made cuts in wasteful government overspending which left more to cover government contracts with dependents. Yes, those you of who are defrauding the government might find yourself behind bars, but quite frankly I don’t feel a lot of sympath for you! Obama has put your payments at risk with his massive payoffs to Wall Street, bankers and big business…and his Democratic crony’s and union thug friends. Have you really seen any indication that he has thought of YOU in the last two years? He has ruined your ability to get credit, lowered your chance of getting a college loan, and now increased the possibility that neither your children nor your grandchild will receive a dime of what THEY are forced to pay into these ponsi schemes! If more American’s do not learn to stand on their own two feet, this country is not going to survive! And for those on the dole…wouldn’t you rather have a smaller check each month under the Republican smaller government plan than absolutely NOTHNG under the Obama bankruptcy plan?

Palin’s movie generated $101,000 while playing on just 14 screens and with NO bought media advertisement while competing with Harry Potter’s final movie openng night! Quite frankly it did much better than anticipated and is has just opened on another 6 screems with four more opening next weekend…all folled by word of mouth and online contacts! And soon her video will be available on Pay Per View and then in Walmart stores across the nation! It has succeeded beyond the producers wildest dreams! And as it becomes more readily available to the average American it will become a serious money maker…and do even more to help get the truth out concerning Palin’s political positions and the strength she brought to Alaskan governorship! Palin 2012

Hey gayle and the rest lefty libs. I wonder why all your comments are just full of hate, belittleing and without any substance at all that readers cannot learn from. GET USE TO IT…SARAH PALIN WILL BE THE NEXT POTUS!! Obama is a good guy from Harvard but he will be one term president. He is not a unifier and he is like Commodus of the Roman Empire. Sarah Palin is the Maximus Livius and Julius Caesar of the United States. One more thing, guess why the Mighty Rome got collapsed? The answer is very simple, Romans particularly the senate became so corrupted and had embraced extreme liberalism. ROME WAS NOT DESTROYED FROM THE OUTSIDE UNTIL IT WAS DESTROYED FROM WITHIN, and this is what is happening in the United States now.

Guys..guys on both sides of the fence..please comment with tied up facts…CORRECTION PLEASE…please shoot back the polls last 2008. McCain was a sure loser against Obama prior to his choosing of Palin as VP nominee. When Palin was chosen, Obama’s lead was cut by 70% and suddenly, Obama trails McCain by 6 points. How can Palin be responsible for McCain lost? This is just a sour graping from GOP establishment. Prior to being selected as VP nominee, Palin is enjoying 80% approval rating by alaskans. McCain lost because of economic meltdown, stupid! If McCain did not support the bail-outs, it is either McCain won or China would have been part of the China now!LOL

There is a saying that a persons stature or destiny can be judged by the enemies one has. Every little attack upon Sarah Palin is like a master swordmaker folding metal again to create a superior sword. Sarah Palin is now refined steel, folded, treated at different places for strength and for a cutting edge.
All she needs now is our massive support behind her to wield her strengths against the enemies of America.
As Palin grows brighter, Obama grows dimmer with each anti—business, anti-America, and anti-Israel decision.
