Gee Talmag... seems the DNC has you working overtime on this story... Hey, at least you are employed.. But I do want to respond to one of the comments specifically. Formermarinesgt said -"It's nothing more than a publicity scam perpetrated and being foisted upon America by the Republican party.
One can say there's many things wrong with the democratic party - but at least they don't foist this kind of lie upon the American people."--- To that I say, that I would think the kind of lie the Democrats foist on the American people is MUCH MUCH worse..His name is Obama..

While Bachman is railing against the stimulus saying it did not work...according to Huffington Post, she has asked for stimulus 16 times. She is asking for her park, her roads, her infrastructure, her farm, her husband's business which she says he uses to 'CREATE JOBS"..yet on the campaign trail denies this. How can she be so openly two faced? She is asking for money for her rail park using the phrase "to create jobs" and yet will say in another state..the stimulus did not work. How can we take this person seriously????

Watched Michelle on This Week yesterday and the questions she did not have answers for or did not choose to answer she said Iam running for president of the United States..over and over. She uses this phrase constantly as if we did not know. She beats around the bush on some things like would she accept a gay person because she has already said this is wrong. She said she would hire if they had her values, were intelligent and followed the Constitution. Gregory then said according to your values you would not hire a gay person..then came the old I am running for president of the United States. Can anyone take her seriously or Palin either. Palin wants to run but also likes making money and this would totally interfere with that process. She cannot get her face out of the limelight..she is so starved for attention and hates it when Michelle gets it. I wonder if there would be tension between them if Palin ran?

Unfortunately the two women who think they are qualified Bachman and Palin..are not. We do have a lot of intelligent women like Hillary but they are not interested in running. Too bad..it would be good to see one with common sense run against these two just to accent the difference between weird and right on.

Do we want someone who thinks it was better and easier for the African Americans when they were slaves. Now really, Michelle. They had no rights, parents were sold without children ..girls were raped and had children by the plantation owners..they had no say..no respect..they were beaten by the owners...is this being better? Today they are free, educated, raising families, respected by some, contribute to society....yes there are some still in poverty but there is poverty in Appalachia also and they are mostly white. All in all, I doubt if you asked them if they prefer to be back to the slavery days or today..they will look at you with a weird expression and walk away.

It's amazing how much the repubs make out of this completely fabricated and unrealistic straw poll.
To win, all the candidate has to do is pay to bus in as many of thier supporters as they can. Every illegal action that cannot be performed during a real election is allowed. You don't have to be from IOWA, you just have to be present.
It's 100% scam and means nothing. The winner of this little scam usually gets nothing in the real contest for President. Heck - McCain came in 9th last time, yet he won the nomination.
It's nothing more than a publicity scam perpetrated and being foisted upon America by the Republican party.
One can say there's many things wrong with the democratic party - but at least they don't foist this kind of lie upon the American people.

Bachmann believes our founding fathers had nothing to do with slavery and Sara Palin believes Paul Revere warned the British that the Americans where coming-two dumb bats that need to get lost on a tropical Island and never heard of again.

That was mostly support for 2 things......1. a person from Iowa, and 2. She is genuine in her campaign, and not just another phoney politician......and Iowans prefer candidates with conviction.

I guess every victory, not matter how miniscule, should be acknowledged.
"We're gonna make Michelle Bachmann a zero term president!"
