ABC News' Sarah Kunin (@Sarah_Kunin) reports:
The Huntsman campaign touched down in Iowa last night, but already their focus is back on the key primary state of New Hampshire. Today they released a marathon of a weekend schedule, with eight stops stretching 216 miles across the Granite State in just three days.
On Saturday, Huntsman will attend five events, beginning with a speech at the American Legion Post 3 in Nashua. Then it’s on to two restaurant meet and greets in Derry and Dover, followed by a stop at the Newmarket Old Home Day Festival. He caps off the day at a house party in Hampton Falls.
Huntsman’s success in New Hampshire is crucial, and he's made sure to include Granite Staters every step of the way. Immediately following his official candidacy announcement at Liberty State Park in June, he and his family hopped on a plane, along with several dozen reporters, to deliver the speech again in Exeter, N.H.
“We’re gonna be here a lot,” Huntsman told a Moultonborough, N.H. crowd last month. “We’re gonna see you. We’re gonna get to know you. I understand you’ve got to shake hands with people 11 times before you earn their vote.”
