in an age of Idealogues on both sides of the aisle I am not surprised at the acrimony. However. our Liberal Idealogues have spent us to near oblivion. When we are talking about the SURVIVAL OF OUR COUNTRY, SAYING THINGS LIKE “DEMON SANDWICH” HELPS NO ONE! The only way we will get out of this mess is to run the irresponsible, spendthrift Liberal Socialist Democrats out of office next fall, and this includes Marxist President Obama!!

There’re all crooks! America is not free or democratic. Perhaps in the near future they’ll ask everyone to pay 100.000 for each child to go to High School and 1 million for a college education. Perhaps everyone will have to wear arm bands and join the military. In Naomi Wolf’s “The End of American” on u tube she describes how government closes down a society and gets the consent of the people. The leaders of our country want to strangle people with so much debt that they can’t think straight. I can’t wait to see what they got for us next.

Well I am pragmatic too and somehow it seems like funny math more like Reganomics — but if the cuts don’t come until the Bush tax cuts expire and “hopefully” the top ones will then we should have some balance — I cannot see a reasonable tax reform package before the cuts expire and maybe not until 2014. Look what this took. I think passions people on the opposite side of the tea party should consider their chances in 2012 as well — since all the moderates have disappeared.
Term limits are needed and a rule about signing pledges — too much like one large Union to me.

Well Tea Partiers and liberals seem to be raising their arms up against it, which suggests it is just what the doctor ordered! IF it passes, good job; I’m not convinced yet the deal will pass.

and who care what paul krugman thinks as his type of thinking is way left of the vast american public who want fairness bothin taxes and handout abuse.
most of recognize whats been going on. as i said about a week ago this is nothing but a politcal show.the ceilings not the issue its the debt and the poor economy news broke at the same time as the inflexibilty over the debt crisis.
going into 2012 it appears we are in a soft patch. i personally dont know whats soft about it. mr obamas only chance is to come up with a real plan other than writing checks to unions to turn the economy around.

The key hear is the committee to act before Dec 2011. If they come up with balanced deal the mega-millionaires will pay more taxes. If they have no deal then cuts are 50/50 defense and programs.
We should all realize that this is the continuation of Reaganomics..”reduce taxes, run up deficits, solve deficits by cutting programs, until the only government we have left is the Republicans war machine (defense) and interest on the debt. We can all pretend it is 1955 and we are all young Mid-Western actors who want to be President… and all is well in America.. (duhh!!)

It contains the “Biggest Tax Increase” in U.S. History!!! Don’t listen to the media. This bill “ends” the Bush Tax cuts and also has Obamacare Tax increase; both of those combined are the “BIGGEST TAX INCREASE IN US HISTORY”. Why would any GOP support this bill? Is is stupid and does not help the U.S. Economy; doesn’t help US families and businesses. This bill is a sell out by Spaker Boehner to re-elect Obama. To Republicans and Moderate Democrats up for re-electin in 2012- “DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS BILL”. It contains the hihest Tax Increase to American households in US history.

I keep hearing TV journalists keep saying, but Obama will have leverage because the Bush Tax Cuts expire in Dec. 2012. What they will soon realize is that the expiration of the Bush Tax Cuts coincides with the expiration of the new debt ceiling limit! What does this mean? It means that the GOP will threaten government default unless the Bush Tax Cuts are made permanent. If history is our guide, they will get their way.
