Uh yeah, their numbers do indeed stand a very good chance of rising over time -- especially in comparison to Obama's. Why? Fairly simple, actually. As more and more people catch on to the obvious fact that these states' fiscal situations must be rectified and improved, and that, yes, this process is certainly going to cause some pain and acrimony (both real and falsely inflated), and they continue to see the childish whining and dishonest scare tactics from the Left, they will tend to side with these governors more. How much more is yet to be seen. Obama's numbers -- barring some new, major situation in which he truly acts decisively and brilliantly, which is highly doubtful, to say the least -- will continue to decline, or at least stay dismally low, since he has no intention whatsoever of substantially modifying his clanky, clunky socialist ideology or seriously displeasing his base of support habitually and eternally chowing at the public trough -- hence, further economic stagnation and descent. Oh, and as for me, I'm no "right-winger" at all. If they were honest and knew me, even the most liberal person would say I am perhaps one step or degree to the "right" of center. That's also what you and many libsters don't get, or don't admit -- Obama is not just losing and battling "far right-wingers", who are obviously already lost to Obama and most Dems anyway, but Obama is also, and far more importantly, losing many, many millions in the middle, and in all of the neighborhoods immediately surrounding the middle. And no amount of pretending, or merely calling every critic or opponent a "right-winger," will change that salient fact. Happy Labor Day weekend to you. LOL again, Skipster. At least football is more than half honest and not twice as boring that watching paint dry, unlike our current prez. That one poll is ruining my whole day. Not. Again -- And even if Obama’s poll numbers are dismally low and going still lower, at least that is numerically counteracted by a solidly and stubbornly high unemployment rate, which will stay quite high clear through his re-election loss. :) Darn. So, assuming that this one poll cited by this one source is close to correct, which is a pretty large, convenient, and dubious assumption on your part, then those numbers are pretty close to Obama's (based on numerous polls) -- and one, Scott Walker's, is even substantially higher than Obama's. So, you take pride or some sort of solace in that? And again, Obama's numbers will probably descend even lower, ever lower, whereas these governors' numbers stand a very good chance of rising over time. But, hey, if you're happy, then I'll try to be happy for you.
