Hope Ron Paul DOES run as an independent next year. It will put the ‘finishing touches’ to the ‘clown show review’ currently going on in the GOP primary. And YES IT IS ‘MASS MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT”. And then…. they will be ready for the ‘extreme makeover’ episode. LOL…LOL

Ron Paul is riding high again after his California Straw Poll victory yesterday, but some Paul supporters are questioning why the Texas Straw Poll was cancelled for “lack of interest,” and whether it was actually killed because the Congressman would have inflicted an embarrassing defeat on Governor Rick Perry in his own state.

Ron Paul frequently wins straw polls among the Right Wingers that participate in those completely useless endeavors. That’s not really newsworthy. Now if he won something meaningful, that would be newsworthy……….

“Mitt Romney has requested — and been granted — a meeting with Donald Trump” —???? Has Donald Trump anointed himself the GOP Pope? Does this seem backwards to anyone else? Since when is begging for a Trump endorsement a prerequisite for the GOP nomination? I guess Ronald Reagan’s daughter was right when she said it looks like the GOP is running a reality show audition instead of a presidential campaign.
