While people bicker and argue over which energy sources are better, they continue to waste energy in huge measure and there is no concerted effort to get them to smarten up and quit squandering. The entire American model of the consumer economy seems to also be built on gross consumption and squandering. Same with energy. Not sure how long either stupid approach can last. It could be time for new paradigms. There is an interesting parallel with energy (for those still capable of thinking for themselves).
