I stand by the democrats 100% because The republicans are very selfish they should see that America needs help right now. President Bush’s presidency ruined our economy, I don’t care about what any republican say they are not for the people. I will be voting democrat in 2012! Republicans are always taking away services that help people and they never do anything to help America; such as bringing jobs to our economy. How many jobs did former President Bush support? At least I see President Obama trying! OBAMA 2012!

Many citizens are against government spending. However, look at this. The Chinese invested funds for econmic recovery, and it worked. However, it spent, in relation to its GDP, 10 times what the U.S. government spent. So, yes, Bush’s and OBama’s stimulus didn’t work. Now, you know why. The economy is as bad or worse now than it was in 2008 during the crash. My question is how bad must the economy get before the people scream at the government to put money into the economy? How many kids must go hungry before the government takes notice?

It’s time to put pressure on congress!!! That’s why nothing is getting done; the media keeps asking people what they think about the job Obama is doing when they need to be focusing on Congress. The President has nothing to sign into law or veto. They need to pass something before we can blame Obama. CONGRESS DO YOUR JOB AND PASS SOMETHING TO GET THIS COUNTRY MOVING!!! We can sit around and debate if its right to tax the rich more or cut entitlements but Congress has yet to put anything on Obama’s desk. The media has us debating instead of pointing out the do nothing Congress.

Wait, I expected Obama’s latest attempt at a semi-disguised stimulus to be in trouble in the Republican controlled House, but the Senate? Isn’t the Senate still controlled by the Democrats, at least until 2012? Wow!

Isn’t this Obama’s “pass this bill right away” plan? Doesn’t he want it passed right away and with no changes? Isn’t that what he’s said over and over again? He’s even said, “If you love me, you’ll help me pass this legislation.”

Guess it’s not only the House Republicans who don’t “love him” any more.

No Allen, the reason most people are saving and sitting on their money is because the recovery has ONLY happened to large corporations and the wealthiest, not the majority of Americans. I have no idea how you view that as a “vast conspiracy”.

Meaningful recovery is dependent upon the ONE factor: family wage paychecks.

For the last decade, spending was enabled by borrowing against the value of homes, many currently worth less than the raw materials used in their construction. Consumers became drunk on credit cards that landed in the mail. Now 14 million (and more) are unemployed. Today American workers need JOBS and American small businesses need CUSTOMERS.
