The helicopter didn’t land because of bad weather, Barry needed a quick 30 minute break to handle the long weekend getaway, after the 10 day vacation last week.

“…before the President and his younger daughter Sasha even boarded the aircraft.” May I surmise that Michelle took an earlier helicopter? Seems to be her thing. And please, did First Dog Bo take a separate chopper?

Having lived through the miserable 70s, with double-digit inflation, double digit interest rates, skyrocketing gas prices, double-digit unemployment, and a flat stock market, with my parents very nearly losing their house and my dad almost losing his job due to that idiot Jimmy Carter, I never thought I would have to see a more leftist, inept, anti-business President that Carter.

Sadly, I was wrong and my hopes to never experience the 70s again have been dashed. I see that the future under Obama will be far worse than the ’70s and will continue far longer before people wise up and get rid of these ignorant statists and pro-government, anti-freedom ignorant community organizer leftists. Until we get another Reagan and a real revolution to roll back this oppressive, crushing size of government spending and regulation, we are doomed to repeat the ’70s – printing money that drive inflation but no growth, putting in job-killing regulations and taxes, and more wasteful deficit spending into government “investments” like bridges to nowhere and Solyndra.

I live on the mountain about 5 miles or so from Camp David. There is no wind, fog, or rain. It is merely cloudy. But all afternoon we’ve been hearing the roar of low flying fighter jets circling the area. Strange.

Boehner and his radicals take off a month for vacation, but yet some have a pissy fit because Obama take ten days for vacation. Obama goes to Camp David, where is Congress? In D.C. working to create jobs, I think not. Next time i hear some one ask, where are the jobs Obama? I will ask the exact same question of the ones who rule the purse string, who passes the laws. I know what I’m talking about – I’m living it every day. I want to pay my taxes but I’ll be paying less because I’ve lost my job. I’m taking care of the elderly, my mother and her husband, because they’ve moved in with my family. I took economics in college and I can see the measurable results that the Keynesian model this president and his administration have applied without opposition during the first two years, and which have now ground to a halted stalemate in Congress with threats of veto if anything challenging does get through, have not worked. Voicing your opinion is quite American. Labeling opposing opinion and diverting facts to emotional name calling is rather un-American in my opinion, but the left is a part of this country also, so they have as much right to employ their tactics as anyone else does. Folks need to realize that as long as our countrymen and women are divided along party, race, class and cultural lines, the politicians win – regardless of which party label they wear on their ballot tag. We need to come together as a people united and send all of them home, not just this current president – ALL of them. Give them a single term only – one shot and one shot only in any given position to serve US – the people – then come home, live amongst us and face the consequences… and while you’re there – pay for your own vacations.

The Marine pilots are professionals. They knew the weather conditions at their destination before they departed Washington, DC. If they thought it wasn’t safe, they would have informed the President. I believe they did just that and he ordered them to attempt the flight anyway. If it failed, he would blame them since “They’re the experts.” We’ll find out for sure.
