Yesterday’s U.N. Conference on Trade and Development’s report clearly states stimulus spending is critical.

“If interest rates everywhere are zero, and if governments stick to the policy cutting public expenditure, then we will end up in permanent recession.”

Without stimulus – without jobs – the best-case scenario a DECADE of stagnation. Is that what the GOP wants for our nation?

This protest was one of the most hopeful and inspirational things I’ve seen in a long time of watching C-SPAN. It’s about time someone break up the hum of the corporate military-industrial machine we call Congress. This committee is nothing but a sham to cut more money from the poor and middle class, including Social Security! .There is no debt crisis- there’s a jobs crisis!

I’m glad they were interrupted. The Super Committee is a joint effort by Congress to avoid responsibility and should never have been put into existence.

This is only going to get better as November looms closer. Rumors should drive everyone nuts, ABC hope you got a team to cover this. Better than any speech Obama will ever give.
