It is an interesting fact that in Business School one of the required readings is “Other People’s Money” and that you should always use OPM to do your business so you are not the one left holding the bag. yet the republican’s say that that is what the government is trying to do with stimulous projects, use OPM to get the job done, when the people with the money refuse to.

Dear ABC, the GOP Convention is being held in Tampa, not St Petersburg. And, as much as I decline to call Mr. Obama “President” the title, President should uniformly be capitalized, not sometimes capitalized and sometimes not, as it appears in the article.

If the American Idol, Kardashian-worshipping electorate doesn’t figure out soon that the election is about the economy (and rescuing taxpayers from unsustainable spending programs) and commonsense, we’re all totally hosed. You, me, my child, your children, their grandchildren: We’re all going to pay for the TRILLIONS being spent by this president. Perish the mere thought of this person getting another four years. Thankfully, at least half of the House is now controlled by elected officials who are starting to get it. The People may not like what’s going on, but to do more of the same is the definition of insanity.

This upcoming election is going to be ugly, meanspirited and divisive and it’s going to be displayed publicly all over the world for everyone else to see. What an embarrassment that will be. And dangerous for us because we have no unity anymore.

All primaries should be held on the same day to eliminate this whole charade of fairness they have going now. Often the later primaries miss out because the early winners get the backing and someone who was probably likely to win later races gets out because of money.
