Three Democratic Senators up for re-election joined 47 GOP Senators to kill the bill in the Senate. Why wasn't motormouth Joe, who is so delusional he thinks he might run in 2016 [at age 74!], the Veep who won't shut up and who threatens reporters who ask him to explain his signs of mental illness, there to break the tie and pass the bill when it was a 50-50 tie. That's what REAL Vice Presidents do, not run around saying rape & murder will ensue if the bill doesn't pass. Obama's 41% approval rating will be 31% in mid-winter and may go lower than Carters & Trumans' in the low 20% approval area even though the lamestream loo-zers back Barry Soetero 1000%

Feds do not need to be raising taxes to pay for local government jobs. Those localities need to raise their own funds!

Feds should not be paying for local government jobs. If those areas need the jobs, the local governments need to raise the funds to pay for them.

At least someone, other than the President is showing signs of desperation with 14 million Americans out of work, why aren't the republicans desperate. If they aren't they should be.

Actually, Vice President Biden just stated the "Politically Incorrect" truth of the matter that the GOP doesn't want to face. Better in the GOP's eyes to oppose the administration on anything, even if it costs the citizens of this country everything!
