I sat down with President Obama this afternoon for a live interview to kick off a brand new partnership between ABC News and Yahoo! News Network. We received thousands upon thousands of your questions, and Obama answered a few – take a look:

There are a lot of things I could say about the terrible policies Obama is pursuing, but I’ll stick to one issue: the Bank of America fees. The president says that the government needs to stop banks from charging fees like this and make them treat customers fairly. So, he has set up a whole new bureau to do just that. Here’s my problem: instead of wasting taxpayer money to run yet another unnecessary government agency, why not just let capitalism take its course? If consumers find the five dollar fee to be too much of a burden, they will change banks, causing Bank of America to lose money and be forced to either stop the fees or go out of business. Basic competition will ensure that this happens. I am not a bank CEO, but if I was, the first thing I would have done when I heard the news about this new fee is issue a new policy that my company would charge no fees of any kind, and couple this with an advertising campaign bashing BOA. This capitalist approach saves money and encourages a free market, as opposed to encouraging consumers to run to Big Brother every time someone is mean to them.

Presidential Character
I would ask you to provide your views and comparisons on the Presidential Character of former President Clinton and President Obama. I thought President Obama showed Presidential Character in his response to your questions and I believe he respected your character in allowing this news making interview in The Whitehouse.
You have a unique perspective in that you have earned the respect of both of these men and your time with President Clinton provides you an insight since both men are faced with same similar events in history but with seemingly different results.
In your view is it the differences in the men, in the world situation, the makeup of the congress or that because of 9/11/2001 nothing is related and we would find ourselves at this critical point in time no matter the President in office.
How did President Clinton achieve a balanced budget with a Republican congress?
What was he able to give that allowed him the taxing policies which restored balance?
What has changed about the Republicans of today that there seems to be nothing the President can offer that will result in progress on a balanced budget and a fair tax code?
Would changing the guard at this point really make sense for America?

Why did you let Obama get away with saying Solyndra was a “good bet”, despite warning after warning after warning? Who thought it was a good bet. All the memos and emails show otherwise. Approval could ONLY be political.
How do you also let them get away with this “stuff happens” attitude with a half-billion in taxpayer dollars down the tube?

Wow. It’s hard to believe. George actually asked The Prez about Solyndra. I just assumed he had never heard of it since there has been absolutely NO mention of it on GMA. 33 days and counting…
I don’t know whether or not George has ever called himself a ‘serious news man’ but… let’s hope not. It’s bad enough to be a shill but to prove himself to be A LYING SHILL by claiming to be a straight shooter would be … well…. just plain sad.
Still waiting for a piece about the NBPP guilty verdict dismissal and Holders’ lies about his awareness of Fast and Furious….
btw… I’m not holding my breath.

Today’s news that he wants to allow bill collectors to call people on their cell phones? Total stupidity.

Dear President Obama and Senator Durbin, instead of concentrating on the “bad banks”, why don’t you ask Wal-Mart and every other retailer in the country to drop their prices since this money shifted from the banks to them? I don’t see them dropping prices, do you? If they did, all else equal, you end up at the same spot. Everybody is happy. So are you demanding all retailers drop their prices too? My milk is still over $4 a gallon. You want stimulus? Put pressure on the retailors, and then we’ll really see some economic lift.

I don’t have cable and I was in class when the interview went live. Is this all the interview constituted? I was looking forward to hearing a few more questions from other people (secretly hoping one would be mine) and the president’s answer to those. Two questions are not “a few,” it’s a couple.

UR Reports~ You should’ve asked the president : Do you have the right to “bet” with taxpayer money? The followup should’ve been: After you bet and lost taxpayer money, can you morally ask taxpayers for more money?
That Solyndra deal didn’t work out so well for us taxpayers—it appears the bankruptcy process will be rushed and the company’s executives are pleading the Fifth Amendment.
That isn’t keeping the president from betting again, however. Stephanopoulos didn’t ask Obama about other solar deals.
For instance, the Dept. of Energy announced on Friday:
“U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu today announced that the Department has finalized a $1.237 billion loan guarantee to support the California Valley Solar Ranch Project, sponsored by SunPower Corporation.”
Meanwhile, on Monday Business Week did a story on a corporation with the same name. BW said, “SunPower’s stock fell 33 cents, or 4.1 percent, to $7.76 in morning trading. Shares are down nearly 45 percent in the past year.”
BW also noted SunPower is “revising its full-year earnings and revenue outlooks next month due to challenging market conditions.”
Would Obama gamble his personal funds on a not-good-bet like he’s done with taxpayer money?

What I want to know is when is the government going to start protecting us from the cost of a Starbucks coffee? This is America where capitalism is part of our foundation. When are we going to price fix haircuts, CPAs, mobile phone providers, etc… Banks are not non-profits. They have stockholders who expect a return. If you limit the amount the bank can make, why would I invest in a bank? Obama actually illustrated that he doesn’t understand this topic. He used the term “credit card” when actually this discussion is related to debit cards. I think this one put me over the edge to not vote for him again. He’s out of touch.

LOL hard to decide who is the bigger failure here George, You as a journalist (whoa that hurt just saying it) or Obi- Wannabe as a president. Why didn’t you ask him “Mr. President does your administration make all of you decisions based on whether it’s a good bet”

Obama is the only president in history to have hidden or destroyed his past history (at the cost of millions) he even surrendered his LAW license to avoid investigation and even his kindergarten records are sealed- an honest man would NOT do this- GOOGLE “LARRY SINCLAIR” to hear Obama’s old friend (he has pics to prove their friendship) talk about their criminal past- Obama has tried to setup & smear Larry as a liar but somehow I believe Larry because Obama has deliberately hidden his past-

The emperor has no clothes
because Obama is a FRAUD who has deceived America- The real culprits are the American news-media who refuse to print the anything about Obama’s covered up criminal past- He even surrendered his LAW license to avoid investigation-and Obama has fought bitterly against showing evidence of his eligibility to be president- There have been over 30 lawsuits
against Obama’s FORGED birth certificate & multiple SSN’s and NOT ONE
article in any major American newspaper or TV-station (at total BLACKOUT)- We
in America pride ourselves on our freedoms but have become gutless WIMPS in
allowing this SCAM of the century to exist without opening our mouths in
protest- Millions know about the scam but are quiet- GOOD for (PRAVDA & THE VOICE of RUSSIA & NEVIDITELNY PES) the news-media in (ex) communist countries for having the guts
to say Obama is a FRAUD on their FRONT PAGEs- We in America have a controlled
news-media that refuse to print TRUTH about the incredible Obama HOAX-
