@ Susan in Warrenville- Cain does not seem to me to be someone who thinks he is invincible or “bullet-proof”. What’s your proof for this statement? Oh, and Cain, a few years back, went to court for this very thing and settled for the lowest amount. This is done when the defendant does not want to go further in the case. He did this because he was INNOCENT and didn’t want to deal with the case any longer. If he had been guilty, he would be fighting for his life!

Why can’t y’all see these ladies are lying to get their moment in the spotlight or to ruin Cain’s life? Get off of his back! This is mudslinging at its worst. One more question: if Obama was in Cain’s place, would this be tolerated?

5 women within nearly a 20 year timespan…. and not one of them has any proof? Common people, use your brain. If he was a “serial adulterer” wouldn’t SOMEONE have proof?

Bialek just got served with a court order.
White lost a LIBEL suit against her! (Note: That means she lied about what someone did and the judge found her guilty.)
The two original accusers have been relieved of the NRA agreement and STILL haven’t provided us with anything. What happened to that joint press conference???

Think about it, if the media or any of these accusers had a SINGLE bit of proof the media would be shouting it from every rooftop. Face it, the allegations are completely false and you’ve been duped.

I can not understand why so many posters are so damning with Herman Cain and the accusations that are being thrown at him now and the same people will gloss over the immoral, homosexual lifestyle of Obama. Larry Sinclair and his lawyer has a video on the internet where Larry is talking directly to Obama and challengeing Obama to deny the homosexual acts he has had with Obama.
There are reports of three of Obama’s gay lovers that were killed …

@ Ringer – You couldn’t be more right with your assessment of the situation. The impact of groupthink is unbelievable when it comes to someone who believes something different. Its come to the point if 2,3 4, or 10 people say something with no evidence that its true no matter if it is actually false. Of course the impact is magnified when the media decides to join in on the fun before fully vetting the stories. If media outlets weren’t hell bent to be the first to report something (even if false or unfounded) and there were stricter laws that made the media outlet reporting the stories liable for not doing full due diligence, then these premature or false assaults on people’s character wouldn’t be happening as regularly on both sides as they are today.

@ Ted from Toronto – Apparently up in Canada they believe in guilty until proven innocent.

@ Susan in Warrenville – The NRA did release the woman from her confidentiality agreement, yet she still hasn’t come forward with any details and for some reason has silently slid in the background. If she had anything credible and Cain was truly guilt, then she would have come forward already.

If there is chracter assasination it is coming from his own party because they don’t want him to get the Republican nonimination. Republicans don’t believe Cain can beat Barack Obama. Herman Cain is just a “token” of the Republican party, he wasn’t supposed to become as popular as he has, so they must asassinate his character to throw support toward other candidates.

@ EMINOH — A person with this history would run because they believe they are bullet-proof. It’s like Schwarzenegger — they got away with it for so long, they believe they will always get away with it. They fail to realize that certain things are tolerated in the business and entertainment world, but there is a whole ‘nother level of scrutiny when you are running for president.

If Cain were truly innocent, he would have begged the NRA to release these women from their confidentiality agreements, and he would open his personal and NRA credit card records to the press, to show that he did not pay for White’s airplane tickets to join him on business trips, as alleged.

This isn’t character assassination — it’s character suicide. Ooops, guess not — either one would require that you have character in the first place, and Herman Cain obviously does not.

Right now, the Democrats best hope in 2012 is that Cain will be the Republican nominee.
