The rich, however, would once again make out like bandits. So in THAT respect, it is a VERY Republican plan……….

Amy, you are missing such a basic part of Cain’s plan. The national sales tax is being offset by income tax reduction, so the assertion that a person is paying double sales tax (state and federal) is highly misleading. It would be more accurate to say that some may be uncomfortable with laying out sales tax up front even thought the federal sales tax will be offset at income tax time.

LOL! Why? So “President Cain” can issue a presidential decree making it so? Oh yeah, HE CAN’T DO THAT! CONGRESS is the branch of the government tasked with making any changes to the tax code. Remember Congress? The people currently enjoying a 9% approval rating? The people who cannot agree on what color the sky is? Anyone who believes Congress could ever come up with a workable revamp of the tax code is delusional beyond hope. And that’s not even addressing the utter absurdity of Cain’s ridiculous pander-to-the-rich “plan”…………….

Really, so the authors problem with the ad is that it doesn’t explain EVERYTHING he wants it to explain in just a short period of time?

How about that 22-35% EMBEDDED TAX that we already pay on our goods that would be replaced with a 9% visible tax? Conveniently the biased author decided to omit that important fact.

As for regressive taxation? Someone should look up the meaning of regressive tax. A flat tax rate that EVERYONE pays is NOT regressive.

Anyone can see that Cain’s vaunted 9-9-9 plan is patently regressive. It drops in half the tax rate the rich pay, while adding a 9% tax on nearly everything the working class buys even if they pay no income tax now. It also drops the cap gains tax, further enriching the wealthy, and the estate tax, which allows their wealth and power to accumulate over time. In short, it’s a giveaway to the rich, paid for by everyone else. I hope Americans can see through this scam and the flim-flam man who promotes it.

We should all, and I mean every single fiscal conservative in America, thank Mr. Herman Cain for getting ‘real’ tax reform ‘front and center’ in this election cycle. If we are to deliver ourselves from the horrible and completely unfair IRS tax system we all endure…we MUST elect Herman Cain. As POTUS and with the full support of patriots across this nation…we can finally FREE ourselves from this very ‘political’ stranglehold. We can’t afford to miss this opportunity. Cain’s 999 followed by the FairTax can and will save our Republic. We must not let the media ‘lap dogs’ or the party mogul/king-makers distract us from this ‘most important’ mission. BOTH parties old guard leaders love the old tax system. They have, after all, been the ones who have massaged and finessed that system into the unfair abomination it has become. Should we trust THEM to ‘wink wink’ fix it? Please. They don’t have it in their ‘tax tax spend spend and spend some more DNA. The proof is all around us. Worst economy since the Great Depression and 15 Trillion in debt. Great job…NOT.
Herman Cain is the man to make the bold common sense changes We the People need. Cain/Gingrich and a cabinet full of patriots…ala Ron Paul, Michelle Bachmann etc can get the job done. jmho.
