A game I always like to play is “turn the situation around.” Let’s say Jesse Jackson or Al Shapton – or even this musician – appears on a talk show and the band plays “Watermelon Man” (yes, there is a song with that title) as he steps out. Is it just kidding around? Is that more or less offensive? Should an apology be forthcoming? Discuss.

I, too have always like the Fallon show but after this, can no longer watch in good conscience because of he rude and offensive behavior he and his band have shown to someone who has always acted like a lady

Interesting to me. I like some aspects of Michele Bachman and did find this inappropriate and apologies from NBC warranted. The contrary comment I have here is that just as a Band member thinks she is not genuine, you get the same attitude on the on the evangelical right that don’t think African Americans are often not serious, and living the life of a welfare person that is just taking advantage of the system. So although I find this reprehensible, I’m not all that enamored by the ethics or maybe more the morality of some of the positions that Bachman takes. But the liberal side gave her a wedge issue and they have to live with that….

Nothing about Michelle Bachmann is Christian, honest, worthy or morale. She throws out lies and hate with enough frequency for a serial liar. Hateful attacks and outright lies do not show Christian values or qualities.

This woman for whatever you think of her is trying to make a difference in your life. If you think that this country will be able to payoff 20 Trillion dollars by raising taxes alone, you need to ask for some basic math and economics courses. Oh, I know that we are not there yet…. silly people, watch how fast that will come.

lady’s & gentleman, we are heading towards the abyss and that is really ugly. Both my parents were from the depression era, one actually lived under Hitler and the inflation and war; this is not a game.

Jimmy should have a new band today, and some advice for the NBC Executives, Jimmy might need a few months off to think about how ridiculous that was… Respect is earned over time very hard, and spent very fast.

We are unfortunately in the days of no respect, Jack-ASS the movie and anything goes…..sad what you have become.
