How many 10′s of 1000′s of miles of pipelines are already going thru Nebraska? Funny the press skewed the Bush admin over Haliburton and their no bid contract (but never named who else might make a competitive bid) in Iraq, but says virtually nothing about the $400M no bid contract given to Siga, whose CEO just happens (funny how these coincidences just pop up!) a big Democrat contributor – and former SEIU president sits on one of their drug boards?

Big whoop. This is so petty and such a dishonesty written headline. I would never have believed this crap from ABC. President Obama can see any and all his friends in Hawaii without having them treated so disrespectedly.

By the way, the $400 million is nothing compared to the BILLIONS awarded to Halliburton by the Bush/Cheney administration

Mythicals tale lad. All companies take write offs including companies like GE who paid no federal taxes last year. There should be a tax that veryone pays;you, me, every company with no write offs, no exceptions.

This reminds me of accusations made by the Pharisees on Jesus for eating and dining by sinners! Well, none of those critics are clean enough to cast the first stone. I stand to be challenged. It is important not for president Obama to concetrate on the negative critics. The HYPOCRITES.

No serious journalist would write a gratuitous story like this about the President, and no serious news organization would publish it. I guess that just about covers Jake Tapper and ABC News. Might as well be reading the tabloids. The whole point of this story is the hits generated by the intentionally misleading headline. There is no there there, unless you want to excoriate the President for not abandoning a childhood friend who got into some relatively minor trouble. A friend who’s not a big shot, not connected to big shots, and not someone in a position to do any favors for the administration. Just a guy from back home that Obama has been friends with for some 40 years whose company he continues to enjoy, despite mistakes he may have made in his personal life. But of course this warrants a sensational ‘news’ headline that somehow associates Obama with prostitution, and from the likes of some of the comments on here, an assortment of other criminal activities. Did any of you conspiracists catch the fact that this friend was from Hawaii, not Kenya? But carry on and don’t let facts get in the way of a good story.
