Sen. Joe Lieberman ‘Disappointed’ in President Obama’s Response to ‘Totally Offensive’ Open Mic Comments About Benjamin Netanyahu
Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., today said an open mic moment involving President Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy was “insulting” to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and “totally unacceptable.”
“To me, it’s insulting to Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is obviously an ally of both France and the United States,” Lieberman said during an interview today with conservative radio host Sean Hannity. “It’s totally unacceptable, totally offensive.”
Lieberman was reacting to an open mic moment at the G-20 meetings last week in France, where Obama and Sarkozy discussed Netanyahu, thinking a microphone was turned off.
“I can’t see him anymore, he’s a liar,” Sarkozy said in French.
“You may be sick of him, but me, I have to deal with him every day,” President Obama replied, according to reports.
While admitting that Sarkozy’s comments calling Netanyahu a “liar” were worse, Lieberman said he is disappointed in President Obama’s reaction.
“I was disappointed by President Obama’s response because I wish he had, in some measure, come to the defense of Bibi Netanyahu,” Lieberman said.
The White House has declined to comment on the exchange.

Maybe this is exactly what Bibi needs to hear, that he’s become a pain in the rear to the few Israeli allies remaining. I’d rather send our foreign aid to Arizona and New Mexico since they have some bad neighbors also, and they actually pay U.S. taxes.

Well, it is about time that the Jewish folks wake up and realize the HUGE mistake they made by voting this empty suit in as President, he is no friend to Isreal or, the US citizens and the USA for that matter. Try to vote him out in 2012, we cant take four more years of this loser!

I don’t think Joe Lieberman is right , Pres.Obama don,t need to defend anybody since the conversation was private and the answer of Pres.Obama is normal explaining that no matter what He has to deal with
the person that the Pres.of France was refering , the conversation in no way put Pres.Obama in bad situation since Prres.Obama is not agreeing he is just explaining that he have to deal with persons head
of states no matter what , if Joe Lieberman want to get dessapointed he should get dessapointed with the reporters that they did not turn off the microphones or for publishing a private conversation that were not given authorization to publish it, that is breaking the rules of confidentiality and should not be publish.

LIEberman is one of those in the Senate who holds duel citizenship in Israel and ALWAYS puts the interests of Israel ABOVE the interests of the U.S. Those duel citizens, along with all their enablers, will take this country into a nuclear war for Israel, with absolutely no conscience. When they drop the first bomb on Iran, Russia will be the first to retaliate and then I expect China and North Korea will join them, probably others as well. But the Israeli citizens running OUR government DO NOT CARE what happens to America just so Netanyahu gets his way. HE is no different from Hitler except that Hitler wanted to exterminate the Jews and Netanyahu wants to exterminate the Palistinians. NO DIFFERENCE.

Oh for Pete’s sake: Politicians and other public figures need to realize what comes out of your mouth is absolutely crucial. if there is a microphone nearby assume it is ON. What is so hard to understand about that?

Lieberman works only and only for Israel in US Senate. He should just move to Israel and stay live there. Lieberman could care less if US gets bombed by anyone.
This Lieberman + that Lieberman in Israel are like Hitler + Himmler.
