I need ID to buy a beer or pack of cigarettes I see no problem with showing my id to vote. I believe my vote is the most sacred thing I can do in our society and I am proud to vote with my ID.

Total lie. Michigan has had an ID requirement for years.
I’ll never believe the left’s objection is that it’ll keep people from voting. If one doesn’t have a driver’s license they can get a state photo ID and the “the poor can’t afford an ID” argument is baseless. If one is that poor they’re on some kind of assistance which requires a photo ID be shown.

Nothing but lies and deceit coming from the left in an attempt to get invalid votes cast for them.

It doesn’t require a drivers license, most states issue non drivers license Photo ID’s which are acceptable under these laws.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand I don’t like the ldea of having to present any kind of ID to authorities in order to exercise my civil rights. On the other, in states that have a huge percentage of minorities (CA has over 50% minority population, a large percents of them illegal) how are you going to be sure your elected officials represent you and not the illegal population? State picture ID’s are common and no big deal. You don’t have to have a driver’s license to get a picture ID. In the end we probably need this law to protect non-citizens from putting people who represent them instead of citizens in office. If you look at what congress is doing, it seems to already be happening. Witness their extreme resistance to doing anything about illegal border crossings or to require e-verify to get a job. And to allow numerous benefits to illegals, like residency status for college? Free schools, free medical.

Are democrats sick in the head? I have never seen such a group of whiners before than this current crop. Has anyone ever had the gull to lose an election and then put up such a fuss about it creating nothing but problems with recall elections such as the democrats in WI have?
