Rick Perry has released a 60-second ad to run on Iowa airwaves starting today, touting the support of veterans.

The ad, which is titled “President of Honor” and is the longest TV spot the campaign has produced, features veterans such as Medal of Honor awardees Marine Maj. Gen. Jim Livingston, Cpl. Dakota Meyer, and Navy Seal Michael Thornton, along with Purple Heart recipient First Lt. Dan Moran and Navy Cross recipient Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell.

Moran joined Perry on the first two days of his bus tour in Iowa last week and was a strong surrogate for the Texas governor at each of his events.

For a brief second, a photo of Perry posing with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee appears across the screen.

Earlier in the month, the Perry campaign released a six-minute and 45-second video titled “A President of Honor,” which featured the same veterans sharing their personal stories of combat and the reasons they support Perry’s presidential bid.
