There goes Perry, complaining about earmarks getting in the way of his crony capitalism. Perry would rather have the money as a blank check (without earmarks to control where it should be spent) so that he can spend it on things that were in no way connected to the bill.

To the Author – “A decade’s worth of incendiary newsletters..” is actually a few articles written two decades ago and not written by Paul. Your article directly implies that 10 years of letters were all inappropriate. What you are printing is called libel, not journalism.

I challenge any media to report the number of letters with the three or four quotes we keep hearing about and the number of articles published over the two decades, and the number of articles written by Paul. It is probably less than 0.25%.
