When Mitt offered to make that bet on stage, you can tell by the look on his face that he was deadly serious about it. He wasn’t just joking around or kidding, he was obviously very earnest in his offer of wagering $10,000 on whether or not Perry was right or wrong. Does it show “conviction” on his part, that he was willing to wager ten grand on it? Ten grand for Mitt is chump change. He probably has that much in the cushions of his couches in his various mansions around the country. What that bet did was reinforce the perception that Mitt is a rich, spoiled silver-spooner, one of the elite, the 1%, who can afford to toss around a ten grand bet like it was pocket change. THAT is the takeaway from that……….

Yea, that makes a lot of sense Rick. How much of a bet would it have been if anyone said I’ll bet you a penny or even a dollar. Does that sound like a bet that someone is serious on? Romney said 10k because it was A SURE BET. That’s what you do when you know what you’re saying and that’s the point of his bet.

Instead of attacking Obama on his spending $3,500.00 a DAY for 17 DAYS in Hawaii on a VACATION, you attack a fellow GOPer. How is it that no one has pointed out how “out of touch with reality that is????”

Why don’t you just bail out of the election – you’re not going to win anyway and all you’re doing is splitting the party even more.

On April 2006, Romney signed Romneycare into law.

On Feb 2, 2008, Rick Santorum endorsed Mitt Romney for President.

Why can’t everyone lighten up. Everyone knows Mitt is not a betting man, it was a joke! Seems to me that people pick at the little things but overlook the big issues.
