Some say that Dr. Paul's foreign policy is an obstacle to their voting for him.

I think his sensible foreign policy is at the foundation of why I will vote for him.

Then the good stuff like a balance budget from spending cuts and a competing currency to the dollar and the return of state power are the icing on the cake.

Protect my money in the bank. Vote for Ron Paul 2012

Ron Paul. I am voting for Ron Paul for the following reasons:

-He is the only candidate with a plan to get us out of debt
-is going to bring the troops home
-He is against corporatism, and for free market capitalism
-He is against the war on drugs, which costs massive amounts of taxpayer dollars and many lives every year, and for what?
-He supports stem cell research
-He is going to stop the wasteful wars of aggression that causes massive loss of life and waste trillions of dollars, only to accomplish nothing other than inspiring more hatred against us
-Get us our liberties back, by repealing the Patriot Act
-He wants to fully audit the federal reserve. A partial audit has already exposed trillions of dollars that went to overseas banks, what will a full audit expose?
-An end of keynesian, interventionist economics and a return to a free market and sound money
-Abortion decisions are left to the states, not the federal government
-Plans to permanently stimulate the economy by eliminating the income tax. This is affordable through the cuts in his "plan to restore america", which you can read about on his website.
-Plans to begin drilling our own natural resources through offshore drilling
-Is going to eliminate all foreign aid. We can't afford it. We shouldn't have to buy friendship with other nations, we should earn it through trade and other peaceful means.
-among other things that I can't think of off the top of my head.

"Despite talking for great length on the issue, Paul’s foreign policy views are apparently one of his greatest weaknesses. Almost half of all respondents said Paul’s foreign policy views were a major reason to reject him, according to the latest ABC News poll"

ABC NEWS IS SICK TOO WANTING TO START A NEW WAR. WHAT A MANICS.

I am a jew myself and I say that we do not want America's protection and we are sick and tired of war. The US is helping Israel to silence
I honestly don't understand why those people think Paul’s foreign policy views are of his greatest weaknesses!!!. Not attacking other countries is a weakness. It is very sick to think this way. I am sorry for those who think this way, they must have lost their sense humanity toward others.
Ron Paul for 2012

We are worried about Iran "wiping Israel off the face of the earth"

If I were from Israel, I would be unbelievably offended.

Listen, Israel has over 2000 Nuclear Bombs, Iran 0. On top of that, they have security second to none other on the planet. Any attack on Israel from Iran would be catostrophic for Iran. The only way this would cause a problem, is if WE get involved, and WE tell Israel what is best.

This is all war propaganda and nothing else. Israel would and can at any minute destroy Iran, Iran knows this, Israel knows this, but MSM refuses to report it. Also noting, Bill O'Reilly is a complete moron on this issue.

NATO Commander who led in Afganistan Wesley Clark, September 30th, 2006

General Wesley Clark:

Because I had been through the Pentagon right after 9/11. About ten days after 9/11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in. He said, "Sir, you've got to come in and talk to me a second." I said, "Well, you're too busy." He said, "No, no." He says, "We've made the decision we're going to war with Iraq." This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, "We're going to war with Iraq? Why?" He said, "I don't know." He said, "I guess they don't know what else to do." So I said, "Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?" He said, "No, no." He says, "There's nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq." He said, "I guess it's like we don't know what to do about terrorists, but we've got a good military and we can take down governments." And he said, "I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail."

So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, "Are we still going to war with Iraq?" And he said, "Oh, it's worse than that." He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, "I just got this down from upstairs" -- meaning the Secretary of Defense's office -- "today." And he said, "This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran." I said, "Is it classified?" He said, "Yes, sir." I said, "Well, don't show it to me." And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, "You remember that?" He said, "Sir, I didn't show you that memo! I didn't show it to you!"
