It would be nice if the actual bill number was included in the article. Congress is slinging so much crap so fast it all looks the same and putting a label on it would help those of us who care to keep track of it; I always thought that was good by-the-numbers journalism too. As a federal employee it’s up to me to know if the bill passes and I should go into work tomorrow and, given the vagueness of the greyness of political reporting, it took me far more longer that it should have to find out out, on my day off.

Wahoo. We can spend our way right into a default or monetary collapse and get Obama’s wish 5 days before inauguration: ‘to fundamentally change America’!!!!! He’s doing a great job towards that!!!
If its not on YouTube, there are a plethora of articles with Obama’s entire sentence (or speech).

promising to cut earmarks. He may not be able to go line by line, but he can veto
the whole bill. Yes he made the promise and the video’s are his own words.

“Now let us see how responsible Obama really is. He promised to cut the earmarks out.” ————— No he didn’t. How could he? Presidents do not have line-item veto powers. And he changed his position on the pipeline deal in order to compromise with the GOP. Which is really kinda funny, considering that ‘the pipeline deal’ simply requires him to make a decision in the next 60 days. His decision easily could be “Not until I am satisfied all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed”. Republicans are crowing about this as if he just cheated on his wife…………

Watching Bears and Bulls on fox this morning, they reported a half of dozen pork
projects in the spending bill. I can only imagine how many are really their. No way
anyone has read this bill. Now let us see how responsible Obama really is.
He promised to cut the earmarks out. He promised to veto the tax cut if the
pipeline was in it. Hawaii Holiday or leading by example. Leadership is making
the tough calls. The Country is in economic hell and we are going to spend
another trillion dollars. If this is all not vetoed all i will say that no one is showing
leadership and there are no adults in Washington!

I just wonder what kind of Obamacare-like surprises (from either or both parties) are lurking in this bill???? I’d bet the founders would vote to most of the members of the legislature for their self-serving waste of American resources.
