The image of the Republican Party is one of the Monopoly Top Hat guy. The Republican Party these days is the middle class, led by small business owners. What this means is that the Democrat Party is the party of the Wall Street rich, highly-paid CEO's, and the poor, living on government benefits. So, how does it play that Barack Obama is allowed to successfully play the class warfare card? He is playing his rich supporters against his own poor supporters, and yet, after calling for more taxes because the rich do not pay enough taxes, he holds another fundraiser that costs $50,000 per person? Interesting that the American people do not get it. Yes, the power of the American media to misinformed the public. The essence of this article is correct. Romney is from the same Harvard-Colombia elite as Obama. "Wall Street" does not represent real capitalism; it represents bailouts and crony capitalism/corporatism. Romney as a politician's son, another failed presidential candidate, embodies the merger of government and big business. The GOP should represent small business, family business, local business, entrepreneurs, self-employed, mom and pop stores, etc. Wall Street overwhelmingly supported Barack Obama in 2008. Let's not forget that the damage they did was not done by them alone, nor is the vast disparity of net worth between congressmen and the average citizen the fault of just one political party. We hear a lot about things being broken in Washington, the Social Security System, out immigration laws, etc., but the thing that is really broken is our government. The thing about which they are most adept is lying to the citizens. They are the cause of our economic problems and it's doubtful that they will be the solution. Wow. This is something Obama and Democrats Absolutely had control over, and they failed. (when you don't even bother to do a budget over 900 days, that doesn't help, either) Democrats had Control of Congress from 2006 thru 2010; and a Democratic President since 2008.

So Let me get your logic right. The Republicans in the past 70 years never reduced a deficit or balanced a budget, all those that ever did are democratic adminstrations. so let us give them back the economy? Is that how it works? Didn't bush and his admin gave us two wars, a prescription drug bill (that cost more than obamacare!), a huge depatment of homeland security, three huge tax cuts all on credit cards beyond the life time of their adminstration? and on top a great recession that wiped out 14 trillion dollars worth of an economy? Wow! how ingrate we have become. Obama, if doesn't win a second term has accomplished much more than any president in modern era other than FDR. hate is a powerful blinder! All three American manufacturers are profitable today! Had it been for Romney all three and their suppliers would have been drawing unemployment benefits today all 3 million of them and the small buisnesses that depend on them! Go Obama 2012 Vicki,
