Chris Christie to Stump for Mitt Romney in N.H.

Chris Christie, the self-proclaimed " loud mouthed" New Jersey governor, will campaign with Mitt Romney in New Hampshire on Sunday.

But it will be a short trip. Christie has to return home to deliver the state of the state address on Tuesday in New Jersey.

Look for Christie, who also appeared with Romney in Iowa before the Jan. 3 caucuses, to be another surrogate who will go after Rick Santorum on Romney's behalf.  Romney has had 2008 GOP nominee Sen. John McCain with him in New Hampshire and South Carolina this week.  South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley joined him in Sought Carolina too.

According to the Star-Ledger, Christie made brief remarks about Romney's Iowa win at a New Brunswick home the night before last.

From the Ledger:

"Iowans are like the political wine-tasters of presidential politics," Christie said. "The bottle gets opened out there, it's allowed to breathe. They pour it in the glass. And they get to be the initial tasters. And they have a lot of time to do it."
