Dear Nick — Canon Law in the Catholic Church is very complex and sophisticated — kind of like civil law — and nothing is thornier than the area of marriage. Any priest will tell you that. And believe, no priest ever told anybody that a Catholic marriage is invalid if the bride isn’t a virgin. Feel free to be an idiot about American politics — you are in copious company. But it’s probably a good idea to leave Canon Law alone.

Shame on ABC. You know in life people evolve. We learn from growing older, life’s experiences and knowledge. A teen doesn’t think like a mother/grandmother or even a 30 yr. old at that.
Rick and Karen are good people. They are entitled to their opinions just like everyone is.
The wife of a political candidate for office should be off limits just like ABC will be “off limits”
for me.

There is no town of Parker. There is a defunct (closed no jobs) mill village of Parker. This is the typically tiresome modus operandi of Greenville SC.It would make Lee Atwater so proud. Sexual rumours are so tittalating and a way of ruining lives, careers and politics in SC and the nation unfortunately. This is of course because with no jobs, poor education limits the imagination. Seen through the lens of Santorum’s pious Catholicism, his wife was actually committing adultery because she was with a divorced man, because the Catholic
Church does not recognize divorce. Worse, if Karen Santorum wasn’t a virgin on her wedding day with Rick, then they did NOT receive the sacrament of Holy Matrimony and their marriage is invalid. So much for the sanctity of marriage candidate!

To A Cynic- Exactly how man hit pieces has ABC done on Obama over the last six years? My guess is it is one less than this hit piece on Santorum. Heaven knows there has been a lot more out there than some flyers on a windshield against Obama. The ABC formula is as follows to attack a conservative
1. Aggressively seek out disgruntled person(s) against the conservative.
2. Interview disgruntled person(s) giving them free reign to say whatever they want against the conservative.
3. Do not challenge the disgruntled person(s) on any of their claims.
4. If needed bring in somebody from the left to analyze the claims of the disgruntled person.

Watch ABC World News Tonight for a week and see the above play out over and over and over.

Rules for news that harms Obama
1. Ignore the news for as long as possible.
2. When the news gets to a point that it can no longer be ignored state in general terms what the news was about. Do not provide any evidence backing up the claims.
3. Right after stating the claims attack the messenger and the possible motives of the messenger.
4. Interview somebody from the left to do damage control for Obama.

The article also mentions flyers like this turned up in Iowa, too. There are plenty of Republicans who can’t stand Santorum and will do stuff like this to try and stop him.

Why didn’t she also talk about the fact that Karen AND Rick HAD an abortion!!! THAT is the bigger issue. Karen went to the hospital and the doctor said that she would die if she delivered the baby. They opted to kill the child so she could live. That sounds a lot like the abortions that he is against to me! ALSO, not only did they abort the baby, but they did a partial birth abortion! So Rick Santorum is full of BS!!!
