Gary Bauer to Endorse Santorum
A source close to the presidential campaign of Rick Santorum tells ABC News that the former Pennsylvania senator will pick up the endorsement of Christian conservative activist Gary Bauer on Sunday.
Bauer ran for president himself in 2000, and is part of the group of conservative leaders trying to figure out around which candidate the movement should coalesce so as to stop Mitt Romney from grabbing plurality wins all the way to the nomination, with conservatives like Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry and Ron Paul splitting the non-Romney vote.
The news of Bauer’s endorsement was first reported by the Washington Post’s Dan Balz.

Well, that pretty much seals it — Santorum is a right-wing Christian extremist. A vote for Ricky is a vote for an American theocracy ruled by a far-right Taliban and Christian Sharia law.

Gary Baur is on the board o thef neo-conservative organization “Emergency Committee for Israel” (committeeforisrael dot com) The board also includes William Kristol. Kristol and Baur are NeoCons. This organization recently put out an anti-Paul ad out. It is not surprising that one neoCon ( Gary Baur ) supports another neoCon (Rick Santorum )

Well, that seals the deal for him – NO WAY will he get in now. The more conservative the people backing a nominee, the more likely the independents, moderate Republicans and uncertain Dems will go for Obama.

No, it was George W. Bush who took over from his daddy, just like Kim Jong Un.

So what? Bauer is a nobody.

Bauer’s influence is on its way out, and so he wants to try and hang on, if only for ego’s sake. Mr. Lego-man can endorse whomever he wants. It won’t make Santorum any more appealing come election day.
