Hey, us people who have money invested for our retirement are absolutely thrilled with the stock market under Obama. We sure as hell weren’t thrilled with what happened on Bush’s watch.

MyTakeOnThis61; Apparently my earlier post didn’t make it. I don’t credit Obama. Last summer I bought Boeing at $58/share because I knew the NLRB suit wouldn’t hold water, especially if it made it to a court room. Boeing is now at $75/share…no thanks to Obama, although he did see fit to take credit for their overseas sales to Indonesia when he was there. In time you’ll come to see that politicians in general are prone to take credit for for things they have nothing to do with. In Obama’s case, he not only takes credit, but points fingers whenever things don’t go so well.

* Over the past 12 months, health care employment has grown by 299,000
* Employment in retail trade has increased by 228,000 since a recent low in December 2009
* Manufacturing has added 289,000 jobs since its most recent trough in December 2009, and durable goods manufacturing added 327,000 jobs during this period
* Employment in mining has increased by 140,000 since a recent low in October 2009
* Employment in professional and technical services continued to trend up in July. This industry has added 246,000 jobs since a recent low in March 2010.

And since then the economy has done nothing but add more jobs, including over 400,000 over the past three months. The President’s approach has completely turned around the economic disaster under the Republican Bush.

Obama’s uphill climb isn’t going to be just in Florida, Obama now has the lowest approval rating of any President, EVER, at the three year mark.
