I may not agree with all of your issues, but the one I do agree on is the way you look at your beautiful daughter, Bella. She has every right to be the very best that she can and with your family’s care and love for her, she will bloom. No matter how long or short her life, the quality is what counts. If your daughter were able, she would tell you to pursue you life dream. I have a “special son and daughter in-law” who have a “normal daughter”. ignorant are the people who do not understand a special person. Good luck in your presidental endeavor and enjoy the gifts you have been blessed with.

I read a report today where Santorum berated a woman whose child has a rare disorder. She said medicine costs 1 million per yr. He said that people could afford medicine if they weren’t buying IPADS (can you imagine!).

What this had to do with this desperate mother beats me. I DID read the entire bill (written in secret by big pharma – insurance – hospitals) DID you know that a great deal of the health bill was in the HURRIED up Stimulus Bill which they didn’t bother to tell anybody about. The death panel ( 15 member board appointed by President) is in this / little wonder they didn’t put it in the major bill. They will decide, according to a formula who shall live and who shall die. IF you are no longer a contributing worker bee – kiss this world goodbye. WE pay (Santorum – others like Clinton, Rumsfeld, etc) 75% of their premium costs, for LIFE. Prescriptions for them cost ten bucks. They have approx 30 plans to choose from/ free dental, vision (eliminated from Medicare) and the BEST of hospitals (federal). A FREE clinic on site Congress/ with doctors – nurses – lab etc. NO waiting period and NO worry about anybody in the family with a pre-existing condition.

They voted NO on having the same plan ( Medicaid on steroids) that they’re pushing on us / they never read the bill!!! WE are their employer – how is that we the employer can’ t afford the insurance that our EMPLOYEES (Reps – Senators – President – Supreme Court – State – Defense) all have? Plus many hospitals are already setting up to go private and will NOT accept Medicare – Medicaid. You may have your magic card – but I’m telling you – if BELLA was your child she would be DEAD.

I for one am FED UP with “negative ads” about opposing candidates! I’d like to learn more about what Candidate “X” stands FOR and what Candidate “Y” believes in. Mud slinging accomplishes nothing. It is too bad that for every dollar spent throwing dirt at other candidates the PACs can’t be compelled to give a dollar to a charity… a charity that would make sure less Americans go to bed hungry for instance. Bet THAT would slow down the mud slinging! Muck raking about one’s opponent just seems like money wasted.

Shame on Santorum for not backing the Affordable Care Act. There are so many parents going through terrible times with their children being ill and having to worry about paying the huge medical bills because they couldn’t afford insurance.

1) To OSTAR: The “news media keeps playing favorites” because they want for Republican candidates watched to gain as little as possible by debating one another instead of focusing on getting Obama out of the position as President.

2) To TOSHIRO: Less than five percent of ObamaCare (including helping specific children in medical care) makes sense. If that small portion of ObamaCare could be kept while the remainder could be destroyed so that the United States will survive economically, then I support your thought.

My husband and I want to know WHY Rick Santorum is not in the news as much as the other two candidates running in the Republican party. He has so much to say and is so right on with his foreign policy and his integrity. We want to know WHY the news media keeps playing favorites. Even when they are debating they leave him out of the focus and we feel this is on purpose. You all wait until someone is elected and then start dishing out all the garbage you can find on them but how about now? Lets put this man out there so that people can see the REAL MAN who can stand against Obama. He is intelligent and has much to offer our country.

Why should he be campaigning and not stay with her daughter? What;s the difference between Newt serving divorce papers to his dying wife at the hospital, and Rick’s leaving his very sick daughter and return to his campaign which will have no life soon?
I realize that this is conservatism (means dumb cruelty)
