Nobody likes to pay taxes, even democrats. But if I have too it would be nice if everyone paid their fair share, including the rich and big business.

Typical ignorant Republican stupidity. Newsflash, Catman: poor people didn’t tank the economy. Rich people did, with the help of Republican fiscal policy. And if you truly believe that the 49% who do not pay federal income tax are all Democrats, I have a bridge in Alaska to sell you. Because millions of Republicans fall in that group as well. The wealthy in this nation have been coddled long enough. Their taxes are lower than they have been in the last 60 years. They’ve had the wealth redistributed UP to them for too long. The Bush tax cuts have cost the treasury well over a trillion dollars in lost revenue. How much is the budget deficit? About the same amount. And you morons on the Right are just too damn stupid to see the cause and effect here. Add in unfunded wars (and wars of choice, like the Iraq debacle), and unfunded Pill Bills, and we have a huge deficit and growing National Debt. And again, you Republicans are too damn stupid to understand this very basic corollary between slashing taxes that primarily benefited the rich, spending on needless wars and pills, and bigger deficits and debt. Republicans today are the most ignorant group of people on the planet. I blame FOX and the original fat basterd, Rush.

So that millionaires don’t have to pay an added 0.01% tax hike on everything they earn over a million, the republicans decided the tax reduction for the middle class won’t have to be paid for.

What a sacrifice they made. The American people know exactly where the republicans stand, why do they keep trying to fool the public?
