Indeed, it is beyond belief that this would be dignified. But as for any of the other candidates running
or being qualified or believable; this might make more sense than we really can imagine. Did you see the front runner of the Republican party, or our so-called Islamic and so-called Black president who only apologized and didn’t offer any punishment at all when rednecks in the military burnt Qurans? Hint-a real Muslim would have given some VERY real punishment for that stunt-as he should! So she is no less acceptable as a candidate than anyone else running-which is REALLY TRAGIC.

I agree with DEANBOB. Just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t mean she couldn’t be a good politician. Ronald Reagan was an actor before he became president.

That said, just because I think she’s funny, doesn’t mean I would vote for her. But she’d definitely be better than Sarah Palin.

Kelly Lute: While I agree that our elected leaders should be qualified to perform in their elected capacity, how is it that a celebrity is any less qualified than anyone else like perhaps a one-term senator. Your assume that any of our politicians, as long as they are not celebrities, are more qualified to lead? That kind of prejudice is not only unfounded but dangerous and is instrumental to these crooks and megalomaniacs being re-elected time and time again. While my initial reaction to Roseanne Barr as a candidate is negative, it would be unwise to dismiss celebrities based on just their celebrity status.
