Bottom line: He’s still light years better choice for POTUS than Obama.

Whomever is elected will be an imperfect human being who just finished months of 18 hour days jumping through increasingly small ‘stupid-hoops’ and who made mistakes along the way and probably suffered multiple bouts of foot-in-mouth syndrome along the way.

We as voters have to look at the big picture, not the minutiae designed to distract us from doing so. Keep your eye on the prize and vote based on whether you believe that in the heart and soul of the candidate they truly want what is best for America instead of becoming just another ‘Ideologue In Chief”.

For me it’s ABO: Anybody But Obama.

What a stupid article! It makes absolutely No Difference whether or not our future president owns a gun!! As Commander in Chief, he will control Many Guns!! But there are far more serious matters to discuss than whether or not a candidate personally owns a gun.

You forgot to tell us if he actually bought bullets…you know those things necessary for guns to be effective. Work on that story and report back to us tomorrow night. In the meantime, try and dig up something worthwhile, say, like the price of gas. I know, doesn’t fit your agenda.

This is not an issue about guns, it is not an issue of republican or democrat, it is about saying things just to pander for votes. Would you give your vote to someone who said they agreed with you, even though it was not true; or would you vote for someone who was honest but not have the same experiences as you?

JACK you can quit backpedaling and spinning. That original statement you made that “in all states when buying a firearm you have to pass a federal background check”…You were wrong. Pointing out the obvious that buying a secondhand gun from a private individual when you can’t pass a background check is against the law doesn’t support your original statement. I have purchased over a dozen firearms without having to get a background check and I would have no problem buying one from a licensed firearms dealer because I have and I possess a conceal and carry permit.

When you walk into a gun dealers store they require a criminal background check to purchase a new or used gun, if you buy in a private sale and can’t pass a background check [ which isn't required in a lot of states for private sales] you are still a criminal in possession of a firearm.

Saying , “I have guns” is true if you have access and permission to use them when you want. Just like you say, I have a phone, a computer, etc… you don’t have to OWN it to have it!
