As an Asian, I would say that you can’t say the ad is not racist if you aren’t Asian. Consider a racist stereotype of whatever decent you might be and how insulting it is to hear. Many people rely solely on generalities because it’s the easiest thing to do. Such a shame selling yourself short .

Having a woman who clearly speaks fluent English pretend to be unable to do so, with very stereotypical music —-it’s just a stupid add. Which sort of fits. He’s republican. He has the whole logic backwards. Debt tethers the two economies, so China gets worried when wedont do good, they want us to payback the debt and inflation of ourcurrency would devalue what we have to pay back. So……China does NOT want oureconomy to fail, it would cost them alot of money. second _ PRIVATE industry out sourced jobs. That has NOTHING to do with debt!!!! That has to do with republican lack of regulations and trade agreements that Obama has never corrected and to which republicans in congress stongly work against. Again the logic in the add, however badly done is just backwards. It’s like adding two positive numbers and thinking somehow they equal something less.

One problem with that add is that the girl is clearly American. I work with many Chinese from the mainland, and she clearly does NOT have a Chinese accent. Second point – it’s a stupid add. The fact that private industry has outsourced jobs to China has everything to do with lack of regulations and unbalanced trade agreements and NOT debt, in fact, if we OWE them money, it makes them MORE inclined to want to HELP US have a strong economy because their financial health is tethered to ours. So whomever ‘approved” this add does NOT understand basic first year economics.
