President Obama will meet with congressional leadership at the White House today to "find common ground."

The president and vice president will have lunch with the Democratic and Republican leaders in both houses of Congress, their first meeting of the year.

The president and congressional leaders will "discuss ongoing efforts to find common ground on legislative priorities that will create jobs and strengthen America's economy," according to the White House.

The president and first lady will host a White House dinner to honor veterans of the Iraq War and their families this evening.

"This dinner - an expression of the nation's gratitude for the achievements and enormous sacrifices of the brave Americans who served in the Iraq War and of the families who supported them - will include men and women in uniform from all ranks, services, states and backgrounds, representative of the many thousands of Americans who served in Iraq," according to the White House.
