Overall Obama needs to go. As much as he has tried to gain CONTROL, he has lost control on just about every level. From the economy to energy to job creation to inflation....and even more crucial he has lost control over the military and foreign policy.

We have soldiers urinating on dead bodies; murdering children; burning holy books of other religious beliefs.....and what's happening to them? The actions of the people follow the leader. When you have a soft president and government, the people will act out with out fear of punishment. The same thing holds true for 3rd world countries.

IF we want to get back to a strong country both at home and abroad, we need a STRONG leader, not a "Foo Foo" president who spends more time rehearsing to sing "Let's Stay Together". If the latter is of importance to our "leader", then he should leave the White house to SERIOUS professionals and go audition for "American Idol" or "The Voice".

A little research would show you President Obama said exactly this . ..

“no faith justifies these murderous and craven acts. … And for what he has done, we know that the killer will be met with justice — in this world, and the next.” – President Obama on Ft. Hood murders.

So quit you lying that the President didn't use the word "murder" about Ft. Hood. He most certainly did and in very clear unequivocal terms.

Liar.
Posted by: Jada | March 13, 2012, 2:32 pm 2:32 pm

Does it make you feel bigger to call someone names?

AFTER he gave a shout out (Jake didn't report that little tidbit):

“As some of you might have heard there has been a tragic shooting at the Fort Hood Army Base in Texas,” President Obama said this afternoon at the Department of Interior, speaking at a previously scheduled Tribal Nations Conference meeting of Native American leaders.

“We don’t yet know all the details at this moment,” the president continued. “We will share them as we get them. What we do know is that a number of American soldiers have been killed and even more have been wounded in a horrific outburst of violence.”

“My immediate thoughts and prayers are with the wounded and with the families of the fallen and those who live and serve at Ft. Hood,” he said. “These are men and women who have made the selfless and courageous decision to risk and at times give their lives to protect the rest of us on a daily basis. It’s difficult enough when we lose these brave Americans in battles overseas. It is horrifying that they should come under fire at an army base on American soil.”

The president said he’s spoken to Defense Secretary Robert Gates and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen “and I will continue to get a constant stream of updates as new information comes in. We are working with the Pentagon, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, who all have been assured that the fort has been secured, and we will continue to support the community with the full resources of the federal government.”

A White House official says that the Pentagon, Department of Homeland Security, FBI and other members of the intelligence community are “assessing and gathering facts about the shooting. Because this is early in this event we cannot – at this time – confirm motives behind these shootings.”

The president said he asked Americans in the meantime “to keep the men and women of Fort Hood in your thoughts and prayers. We will make sure that we get answers to every single question about this horrible incident and I want all of you to know that as commander-in-chief there is no greater honor but also no greater responsibility for me than to make sure that the extraordinary men and women in uniform are properly cared for and their safety and security when they are at home is provided for. So we are going to stay on this. But I hope in the meantime that all of you recognize the scope of this tragedy and keep everybody in your thoughts and prayers.”

Tragic incident.

He had a press conference at the WH, telling everyone not to jump to conclusions about what happened.

Then he and he and his band of stooges labeled it “workplace violence.”

Some of those “republican fools” you’re criticizing are former soldiers, ma’am.------------------So ? You implying soldiers can't be fools ? Too many soldiers I've met are just that i.e. clueless brainwashed jar heads who'd be lucky get a job @ MickyDs or Target . The US military is over rated , over used , over priced and a less than optimal place for 18-25 yr olds to be , period . Those kids need to be in college or trade school learning a peacetime skill . Instead they practice rote marching like drones , tossing grenades and target practice for hours , you know just the exact kinds of things that make for an ideal citizen in a peaceful civil society . The USA certainly needs a strong military , but we currently spend more on the US "Defense" ( what a laugh , they should call it the US Offense Budget , it'd be so much more accurate ) budget than the total GDP of Spain and France combined. This is unacceptable when our social fabric is in ruins. We the people want , no we DEMAND the Peace Dividend that we've fought nearly a decade to achieve ,NOW !!
