Romney merely shined the light on things others had done themselves. He did us a favor, because the flaws of the others would have been exposed in the general election when it would have been too late.

Politicians always say the things we like to hear, because that’s how they get elected. But it’s what they do when we’re not looking that’s the real measure of their character.

@Taxpayer_2: Explain to me how Santorum is a paragon of virtue when on one hand he calls himself a TRUE conservative, and on the other hand votes 5 TIMES to increase the debt ceiling/borrowing? I know liberals who are against that kind of crap.If Santorum was a true conservative why did he vote for a $250 million Bridge to Nowhere and many other billions of dollars of pork barrel projects? Why did he support a pro-choice senator Specter over a pro-life challenger (Pat Toomey)? Face it, man. Every politician here fails the purity test. Instead of looking at litmus tests you gotta look at skills. Romney has a record of turning around businesses/Olympics; what skill does Santorum has (other than signing up for billions in earmarks)?

Santorum is sounding increasingly desperate. He sounds exactly like he did when he was careening towards an 18 point defeat against Bob Casey in Pennsylvania. He needs to learn there is a fine line between insanity and passion.

Mr.Santorum is not getting popular because of unions…he is getting popular because of the right wing religious factors in the United States. They have wanted someone who would push for banning contraceptives and women’s rights and this is the candidate who will do this. His comments on Pres. Kennedy;s speech which made him want to throw up is so sad…this was a Catholic President who made it clear that his religion and his politics would never mix…and that made Santorum want to throw up ….why because he will do just the opposite. He has denied this at times but when he forgets…he again says…what is wrong with banning contraceptives …women should not work…women should not be in the battles up front in war…he feels women should be in the kitchen, have many children and be subservient to the husband. While going after a woman’s right to limit her pregnancies through contraceptives…he never seems to mention the vasectomies the men have to prevent pregnancies and he never mentions the fact that these vasectomies are paid for by insurance…no questions asked…..where is the difference here…I ask? What’s good for one should be good for the other. Men get their postate paid for yet he wants to limit the pill which is used for more than preventing births…it is used for medical reasons like cysts in overies and endometriosis and other female problems. This he cannot see being paid for or even allowed. Internal untrasounds are fine with him because he does not have to have one…if he becomes President…we will see more bills against women’s rights and we will be in another war..

Santorum is right on here and Romney has to answer for this. We dont need another unvetted candidate. Regardless of whether you like Santorum or anyone else, or dont like them, Romney should have to answer this. From all of the news coming out, he’s been shown to be ly ing for the entire campaign. I respect Santorum for at least being willing to admit mistakes, not in an interview, but on the national stage of a debate no less. ROMNEY–ANSWER THE CHARGE!

Mr. Santorum, please tell people the truth. You are only getting popular because the Unions are helping to fund your PAC. They realize you are a weak candidate and are trying to help you win so Obama won’t have to face Romney.

I will almost bet the people of PA will vote for Romney – they already declared you a loser once.

Time for you to step down.
