As a mother of 4 grown children raised primarily by me alone, and without government assistance, and as a person who used birth control and paid for it myself, I resent women like Sally Fluke demanding women’s right to “health care” and offering her opinion as an advocate for women’s rights. I dont’ need anybody advocating for my rights as I had a successful career, managed sexual harrassment on my own, and stood up for myself along my journey. The issue of birth control has NOTHING to do with women’s health issues. My breast cancer, on the other hand, has everything to do with those issues. Sally Fluke and others like her need to get off their soapbox with bogus crap about petty things like birth control, and/or abortion which actually degrades women by insinuating that all women want is free birth control and the right to “choose” to have an abortion. This world has gone completely insane because of activists like her. I’ve done just fine without her and most of the women I know have also been quite successful without her. So, as far as I’m concerned she is about as beneficial to my “rights” as a woman as my neighbor’s invasive bamboo….I have to work very hard to keep it from totally taking over my yard and folks like Susan Fluke are like that bamboo…they just keep creeping over into our lives forcing us to clean it up or get rid of it. This woman has no clue the damage she is causing and the ensuing cost to all of us if health insurers are forced to give in to her demands.

I agree with you Susan. Fluke should not have even been allowed in the hearing. Name calling isn’t needed but the truth about who she is should be and needs to be reported.I will say that if she is an example of what Georgetown turns out for lawyers then is here any wonder why we have lawyers from the ‘justice’ department allowing guns into another country, in the hands of thugs and drug runners, that are then used to kill countless innocent people including one of our own border agents.

Please do not let the constitutional issues get lost in the D.C. circus routines. Please report them in your news coverage. Fluke is an activist who purposely set about to undermine and to force change in religious convictions held by more than the Roman Catholics. She is free to go to school anywhere. The church is not free to change it’s beliefs. Please tell both sides of the story. Thank you.

Mr. Limbaugh is a “media bully” and everyone knows it. Being bombastic does not make a “journalist” nor informed. Perhaps men should be more in touch with the “little blue pill” and what is the results beyond intercourse. Insurance companies pay for the “little blue pill” so what is the problem with paying for “contraception”?

Maturity in discussions would be welcomed when issues affecting our society come to the forefront. Name calling does not present information, only flames misplaced information.

They won’t cover that, for the same reason your post may soon disappear. They are towel-boys and water-girls for the left, although they truly believe most people are fooled that they are real objective news. Just look at the legit posts that have disappeared from this thread, all of them not liberal enough.

It is my contention that an oil change IS a basic component of automotive preventive care. Auto insurers won’t pay for it. It’s my responsibility.
