and WAYNE…. they (GOP) have done nothing to help the President create more jobs by fixing our infrastructure. NOTHING. It is called obstructionism and intransegiance. And LOL…they are still hoping that their ‘base’ is still stupid enough to not notice…and ‘backlash vote’ them back into power. Thank God the middle moderates and independents are smarter than that.

I think you need to look at the real picture.. The democrats have not passed a budget in over 3 years.We are looking at over 6 trillion dollars that Obama has spent in the last 3 years. What are your ideas of fixing this issue? And we do not have enough rich people to pay for this debt either.. President Obama has almost doubled the nations debt in 3 years.

Come now! Surely you know that they couldn’t have obstructed a flea for 2 of President Obamas first two years. There is a good story on the deal President Obama passed up with Congress that actually had tax increases in them. He went back on the deal and he lost as I hope he does this election.

The problem is they want to spend it on the top 1% of the economy and hope enough trickles down to the rest of us to keep us quiet. THe GOP has done nothing but OBSTRUCT and be NEGATIVE for the past 3 1/2 years. Any stand that the President has taken – even when it was a former GOP stand – they are against. They have constantly misrepresented and lied about the President (through their extremist offshoot supporters). Even when the ‘fat man’ (Limbaugh) misspeaks – as he often does – they give him credibility as the ‘spokesman’ of their Party…by saying nothing. It doesn’t surprise me at all that they have ‘reversed course’ on this issue.

But they won’t understand it. this is the same Republican party that spent more than ever until they lost in 2006 -THEN started screaming about the Deficit that until then “didn’t matter”. It seems that, going back into history, Republicans got us INTO recessions/depressions; Democrats always have to be there to clean up the mess. That is how they got the label of “tax and spend.” Of course, Republicans are NOT and never have been Fiscal Conservatives when they are in control of the Congress.

Anyone who voted for Bush 2 times can just sit down and shut up as well because I don’t give a flying doughnut hole what such a peon thinks / says / types / etc. . The republican learning curve is flat. We have never gotten out of a depression or recession by not spending money. Anyone that tells you we can get out of this mess and balance the budget at the same time is just blowing smoke. It’s like Newts promise of $2.50 gasoline.

It’s just basic economics; demand will create investment and jobs. If you can’t put money into the economy no demand, no jobs. It’s simple economics 101. All the spin and BS in the world can’t change it.

The republicans must believe if you don’t water a plant it will grow anyway. The economy is like a plant with spending being the water. Also you just don’t water the top 1% of the leaves.
