Durbin, you just can’t help yourself, can you? Nothing is too small, too petty or too unrelated to your job to put the Governments claws into it. Effective 15% unemployment, record gas prices, record poverty and record job losses over these past three years….Goodell came down with the sledgehammer so get your dirty little nose out of the NFL”s business and get back to work on the nation’s priorities. Congress must have a lot of time on their hands. Big Brother is going to make sure everything is ok. Please. What are they going to do? Set up suspensions if a pitcher comes inside on a batter… someone gets checked in hockey. Will they have high paying jobs for their pals to review films and call out players. Whoever voted for him should be totally embarassed.
Once they get all of the other problems solved and don’t have any wars, high employment, lower gas, better education, smaller deficits, etc. then maybe.

How does this not meet the legal definitions of assault, and criminal conspiracy to commit assault?

We don’t need the Congress to handle it. The FBI and DOJ need to investigate and prosecute where crimes have been committed.

Or have we decided that the NFL enjoys special priviledges and is not subject to the same laws as the rest of us?
