Capturing readers with a misleading title completely full of gender expectations and cliches. Senator Franken does not "break down" for one...he gets choked up over friends that have passed away..he keeps great composure as he recites their own words. You fail to report anything about the actual topic until the last paragraph. All you care about it quoting him just to include how SHOCKING it is that a man "breaks down" and "visibly wept" because he is actually emotionally invested in a woman's issue?? Shame on you! Horrible reporter. Note that I am a 20 year old straight college student who doesn't even consider myself feminist. Yet I am educated enough to identify a sexist, patriarchal writer who abuses a job she could be using to empower women. wow... What a shamelessly sexist example of the problem with media today.
