I am an American swing voter. I voted for Obama because I hate Sarah Palin. McCain was the better candidate but old. I couldn’t bear the thought of having McCain die and have Palin as president. And Obama isn’t really that bad anyway. Now you know an American who said they voted for presidential candidate A because of running mate B. It’s true.

If Mitt goes with Condie, look for Biden to have sudden health issues so Hillary needs to step in as the VP candidate (which some of you will note was the speculation back in 2009 and 2010). Even if the Republicanic Party doesn’t go with Condie, still like to see Hillary on the ticket.

Seems to me that somewhere along the line your producers thought Van Jones and Ann Coulter were enough of a left- right match to make it equal. I can’t see how there even remotely equivalent.
Ann Coulter has been hyperbolically spewing nonsense for profit for years. She just makes things up.
Van Jones, if anything, was a target of a politica smear campaign. If you can’t fiind a reasonable offset for Jones, just don’t have him on. I do hate it when we legitimize the Coulters and the Sharptons of the pundit class. Let them stay on the shows that cater to them and let’s get on with some thoughtful commentary. Also, you should get rid of George Will, he’s a partisan windbag dressed up to be a thoughtful conservative and by now you should know better.

Oooh, Christie, he’s a NE Liberal Conservative who will help us with the squish moderates… but we cannot do anything at all to get actual conservatives more excited.

She’s right, Christie is a good VP pick, IF SANTORUM WINS, because he’s got the social cons and the far right and need someone to bring in the middle better.

But Romney, that’s been his main (or only) selling point all along. Why/how would Christie help this?

But it is nice to see LOVELESS here; keep demonizing your opponents buddy, you can’t rally the liberal hate until you convince them that disagreeing with them means you aren’t human. IS that liberal tolerance, liberal compassion, or liberal acceptance that makes anyone to the right of you as bad as Satan himself?

Condi may be tested, but she failed her Finals on Korea and Palestine. Read Cheney’s book. Picking her as VP candidate would be a fatal self-inflicted wound – and I’m sure Van Jones is licking his chops at the prospect of seeing Romney and the GOP actually take his advice.
