I don’t know how anyone can support Obama when an open mic catches him telling a Russian diplomat that he’ll hand them our missile defense system after the election when he has more freedom to maneuver: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space… This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.” And come on, what else could he possibly mean? There is no good way to evaluate that statement. Do people really want us to get handed over to the Russians just like that? Is that what our fathers and brothers and uncles fought for, and now our sisters, too?

I have served in the US military for 30 years. During that time if I had made a comment to the effect that I would do something to weaken our defense or compromise our defense against Russia or anyone else, I would have been arrested and tried for treason. Remember the Walkers? So how is Obama’s message to Putin about reducing our ability to defend ourselves or our allies any different? After all he is in a position to do a lot more damage to our defense strategy than any service member could at anytime. This isn’t just about not respecting American voters, this about national security. What else does he have in mind?

George Will’s abilities as a mind-reader seem quite out of character for an often good commentator, whose point of view I enjoy hearing. I want to mention that anyone who thinks you can’t love religion, individual freedoms, the military and enjoy guns, but also vote in your economic best-interest, as I do, has probably been watching too much Fox TV or listening to talk radio. It ultimately comes down to economics that impact us the most, and well-informed people who arne’t rich will vote with their pocketbooks for Barack Obama, because not only do his policies make more sense, they are far more fair.

George Will’s assumptions about what those comments mean are pure imagination. When someone ‘knows’ what another is thinking, ‘knows’ what realistic comments really mean, we can only surmise that person lets logic, reality and facts matter less in their mind, than their own imagination.

What is even more frightful than Obama’s comments is the ignorance of Americans who don’t see his conniving behavior as frightening and subversive. Go to sleep stupid people when you wake up you will be part of the European Union because our country was overrun by enemies who were allowed to do so by the stupid uneducated voters that populate the left!

What reinforcement that he is slippery and disdainful of voters? Is that a new one george? I’ve never heard that one before. I agree with thaone — he will have more flexibility once he is re-elected — he won’t have to deal with the goons in congress who have no flexibility — even on the shape of the negotiating table — no kidding.
