Most bankers weren’t breaking the law, just operating within the slack legislation put in place when the Republican majority Congress repealed Glass-Steagall. That’s why one of the first things the Obama administration did was put in place stronger banking regulations.

Obama vilified the Bush tax cuts and vowed he wouldn’t renew them but he renewed them anyway in 2009 when Democrats controlled both chambers of Congress.

Mitt hasn’t said a damn thing except that he would put the Bush administration policies back in place. I’m sure that gives Americans a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Obama, a multi-millionaire one percenter, took advantage of those tax cuts to save himself $100,000 on his 2010 taxes. Let’s hear your criticism of his flagrant hypocrisy.
