The article is very thought provoking because it describes just how far many religions that call themselves Christian have drifted far away from Christ's teachings and have become focused more on the protection of the religious institutions, and on liturgy than on Christ's message to us. What is interesting to me is that the condition he describes is exactly what caused the Pilgrims to leave the Church of England in the mid-1600's and come to America. There are a lot of church hierarchy members that should read his article and change their priorities. Rick Warren ought to read the article and forget the cover.
