The NRA is not politically aligned with Republicans or any other party. In fact the NRA has supported my US rep John Dingell for decades and he is a Democrat. NRA endorsements are based solely on gun rights voting record. As long as the incumbent has an equal or higher rating than the challenger, the incumbent gets the endorsement. I'm not saying that's always a good thing, but that's how they do it. It has nothing to do with what political party they belong to. Reggie is spreading disinformation. He is talking one way and acting another. When will Americans OPEN their eyes and see that only one candidate has a voting record that has the People 1st, 2nd and 3rd?? And who is that candidate? Ron Paul. Do a little research. Look at what their voting records say and see which candidate holds the Peoples' best interests at heart. I misrepresent nothing. I merely state an observation. And as far as being Liberal and looking to the future...look at the situation concerning our extreme national debt, and that is due to the Liberal policies first instituted by FDR....it amazes me that the media tends to focus on our "outrageous" defense spending, and other segments outside of the entitlement programs, yet REFUSES to look at the REAL causes of our deficit...the out of control spending increases in these very programs! That is why I choose to look at the future in a different light. Such as the amount of debt you and your ilk leave for MY children and grandchildren yet to come, and just how they are supposed to pay it!
