LOL...LOL...so when did the extremist, Paul Ryan, become the 'official spokesperson and apologist' for "Willard - the nerd"? I hope he keeps it up. The President will have real fun with that 'relationship'. Especially since as of yesterday he did a maserful job (at the 1st try) of debunking Ryan's 'budget plan'. You know the one. The one that 'rips the heart' out of the middle class. LOL....these clowns just don't learn...do they?

GALACTTU AND MISSY M

Building 2000 mile, 8 billion dollar fence my grandmother could get over, under or around is not the answer. Having the police round up illegals or letting them die on the streets is not an answer.
The answer is giving those people who have been here for years a chance to become citizens without deportation.

One of the biggest problems that we fail to recognize is the drug problem in America. All it does is create violence and corruption in Mexico that forces its citizens to want to flee. We stick our heads in the sand and refuse to admit that our anything goes society and rampant drug use is mostly to blame.

Eliminate the corruption; force Mexico to enact fair labor laws that pay their citizens a decent wage would also help.

As long as people are poor and afraid, all the tough talk won’t do anything to stop illegal immigration. Do you honestly think these poor people fear American law enforcement more than they do starvation and the drug cartels?

It's really time to stop pretending that every single illegal immigrant crosses our borders with honorable intentions. Sure, most are hardworking families who simply want a shot at a better life, but we require background checks of ALL immigrants for a reason, and the reason is a good one. Illegal immigrants do not submit to these background checks - and by the way, the during Clinton's amnisty, thousands of felons were allowed to slip through the cracks. This is not fair to those immigrants who follow the rules, abide by ALL the steps for immigration. My husband is a legal immigrant. My inlaws are immigrants - and they believe very strongly that immigration law needs to be enforced and that everyone, whether they are coming from Mexico or the Caribbean, simply needs to follow the same rules. Why does that position make someone an anti-immigrant extremist?

The DREAM act is nothing but amnesty. We do need to fix the immigration problem in the United States. We have laws on the books that are not being followed. Deport all illegal immigrants, secure the border and fine anyone who hires an illegal alien. The Federal Government has not enforced the law for over 25 years and now we have over 11 million illegal aliens in the United States. We should encourage legal immigration into the United States and enforce our existing laws.

The right way to solve our immigration problems is the Dream Act. The republicans need to get off their asses and quit blocking it.

Ryan ignores Romny's record on Latino issues. There are too many to list here but combined they have lost him the Latino vote. Ryan also ignores that it is his party which has sponsored so much hate immigration legislation that forever it is poison to Latinos.

What the hell is Ryan talking about? Romney has no immigration record. He believes all illegal immigrants should volunteer to deport themselves.

It just shows how out of touch he is with people. Does he honestly believe someone who has lived in this country for many years, is part of the community, went to school here will voluntarily go back to Mexico and live with the poverty and violence. Romney and Ryan both are delusional.
